  • Not worth the money.

    Yes it gets my air particles down to a reading of zero. Yes the app is convenient. BUT I bought the most expensive filter to make sure I have my VOCs under control because I buy all non toxic things so I am very aware of VOCs. I find the only way to get the VOC levels to go down is by opening my window. So the air filter doesn’t help me at all. Waste of money. I can open my window for free thanks!

    Plus no matter how or where I calibrate it…. The room temp reading is 79 degrees. No way possible. Our small home is set to 73 degrees when the windows are closed and we have the windows open when the outside temp is below 70….. so impossible for only the small room the filter is in to be 79.

    Not worth it. Again, not worth it.

It sounds like your Mila may need to be recalibrated if you're not seeing any fluctuations in your temperature, and I also wonder if there's something going on with the specific placement of your unit.   • 4 Defective Units in 3 Years

    I purchased my first Mila machine in 2020. In less than a year the unit started to make unpleasant sounds. It was confirmed that a ball bearing in the motor was faulty. The company replaced the unit under warranty. Within six months my replacement unit started making the exact same unpleasant sound as my first unit. The company once again replaced the unit. My third unit would not connect to Wi-Fi and therefore I could not set up the unit with the app. I was unable to configure scheduling and any settings. The company once again sent a replacement. My 4th unit completely shut down after making a grinding sound. Mila is asking me to purchase a replacement this time because they said all replacement units only have 180 day warranties. While that is their right and their policy, I have yet to have any of my Mila devices last more than 9 months. I had the unit sitting in my bedroom, nothing fancy. I also have a Dyson air filter/fan in the same room (no issues with the Dyson in 4 years). In my experience I think a product that does not last even 1 full year is a risky purchase. I wish the company would have worked with me until I had a positive experience instead of sending me a series of refurbished and faulty replacements. Now my only option is to buy a discounted new machine, but 4 faulty products in 3 years does not instill any confidence my 5th Mila in 3 years will be any different.

    @PFenner - oh no, so sorry to hear that it sounds like you hit the warranty jackpot there :( We have had a small number of Milas make a noise due to a bearing that could become loose over time and while I'm glad we were able to get that replaced for you, would love to see what else may have happened.   • Customer service is dysfunctional and unresponsive

    The product itself is fine but I would have never bought a Mila product if I’d known how poor their customer service is. Here’s two bad experiences I’ve had with them:

    1) I was signed up for the auto purchase program for the filters. Before the stated date that I needed to cancel by before the next filter was sent, I followed their instructions for cancelling the subscription because I did not want the filter. They ignored my cancellation and charged me anyway and I had to report them as fraudulent to my credit card company to void the charge.

    2) When I got the unit, I was having problems connecting it to the app. I reached out to support for assistance. They asked me what my model of phone was. I answered their question. Then they closed the support ticket without providing me any resolution for my issue. I emailed them back saying it was inappropriate to close the ticket and I was still waiting for a resolution and they flat out ignored me and never responded again.

  • App ruins the experience a bit for us

    I love the actual mila but the app is glitchy, disconnects from our device frequently, makes me re login at random and won’t let me change my wake window. Throws errors at me about internet connection when it clearly is fine as other features cooperate. Just a bit of a pain and makes the whole experience less smooth and pleasant

  • Damn Awesome

    I have only just received my 2 x Milan’s with the overreactor filters….. WOWSERS…… so easy to start up & get the app up & running was an easy breeze experience I will let you know in a few months if I’m still happy with the units…. The only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is that I ordered before Xmas & I’ve only just got them… I guess being sold out is a great sign Cheers

  • Air filter

    Everything so far has been explained and has worked well. App is very intuitive. Information available is fantastic. Initially 2 days very good and
    My air so far is very clean.

  • I love this Air Purifier, and the app!

    I just set up this new purifier last week, and it has done an amazing job in my house. We have two kids, two adults, three cats, and a dog. We make a lot of dirt! This appliance has helped clean the air and helped to make it easier for me to breathe. I have asthma, and I can tell a big difference already!

  • Lost a lot of time and air cleaner not working.

    Nice unboxing of the Mila. Easy to pair with router. Worked for an hour before spending all its time in firmware upgrade mode and being unresponsive to app. It simply does not work.

  • Great customer service

    First, I have 2 Milas. We have a larger home and We have 2 dogs and wanted to keep the dander and smell at bay. They work great. I did have one issue and contacted Mila customer support and they resolved it in no time. The process was easy and they answered every email within a day. Because of the outstanding customer service I am thinking about adding one to the finished basement. Thank you!

  • So far so good

    Just received my Milas yesterday very easy setup. They look great and I didn’t hear them running at all. Only issues is I didn’t receive my full order and having issues email support! Can we just get a phone number to speak to an actual person when we need help?
