This is so cool!
When I first found the lamps, I knew I needed to get them! I got one for me and one for my dad. I am moving across the country, and these lamps are just another way to stay connected. The app was a little tricky to connect to the lamps, but once they were all set up, we were good to go! The app lets you set your own color so you can tap it and the other lamp glows your color.

So I purchased a few of these devices for my family to stay connected, and the app definitely made it easier to set up. I tried a test setup of one with the app, one without and gosh was it a noticeable difference! The only thing that doesn’t feel 100% for me is that it took about 20-30 minutes from unboxing to being able to use each device, the vast majority of that was unplugging and plugging in the lamps. Obviously not something with the app since both methods used for setup required this, so don’t let that sway your decision, this app clearly helps. Overall, the app does what it needs to, does it well, and doesn’t pretend to do other than what it says. I fully suggest getting this if you plan on using these lights.

This lamp is a great and easy way to remind distant loved ones that you are thinking of them. The little ones love to have battles with it!

This is an amazing way to let your loved ones know when you’re thinking of them.
It did not connect
My son works away and bought me these. I sent him a group request and he was unable to get his to connect with mine so he smashed his after trying to get it to work for 2hrs.
Then he wrote a request for help and that would not go through either for him. I am really disappointed. He is also a computer tech so it is nothing to do with his Wifi.

I always have to reconnect and unplug my lamp when the wifi goes out so I’m so excited to have an app now to handle mine and my elderly fathers lamp from my phone!
