My friend in Texas & I have had our lamps since 2017. We love them & call each other when we have company so we can show them how the lamps work
More Complicated Than It Needs To Be
I absolutely LOVE my touch lamp! However the app and set-up are extraordinarily complicated. It seems the process could be simplified. Also the app has no “troubleshooting” features. My lamp randomly starts blinking colors and I have no idea why. Everything else on Wifi isn’t having issues, so I’m lead to believe it’s the lamp.

Customer service and App
I have had absolutely nothing but phenomenal customer service in the 2 years I have had this amazing lamp set!
Moving away from grandma and grandpa was hard for my kids but we love this lamp!
I just got the app and it was so easy and fixed my issue in minutes!

It’s sets up the lamp but…
When I got this lamp for me and my girlfriend I was hoping we could assaying certain colors to be used as messages only we knew, so pink for I love you, blue for sad or yellow for happy as examples, unfortunately it seems the app only sets up the lamp and to do the barest form of customization to the lamp you have to use a website, and the customization is a bit of a joke, the lamp will stay on for the shortest time 30 minutes?! Why? Why not like a 5 minute option? On top of that the biggest one is I can select a color range… so green to red…. But not just a green color and a red color, it’s every color in between those two… would it be possible to add the dashboard to the app? And would it be possible to only pick say, 5 total colors from around the color wheel rather than just a range? That’s all I’m asking and id recommend the product to all my friends I spent 200 bucks on the two lamps with the idea of sending secret messages you know, thank you -Nick

Start with the app
When first received my friendship lamp, I used the online method of registration, the lamp automatically assigned the WiFi connection. However, when I changed IPs, I couldn’t get the lamp to connect. The online help suggested I use the app. The lamp was connected in seconds. The app was so much easier, had I downloaded the app in the first place, I would have had an easier time reconnecting my lamp with a new IP.

A touch of home
Since moving for work, this lamp has allowed me to stay in contact with my parents and sister, despite the distance. Instant smile and heartwarm when I get home and see it’s changed color 🥰

Pointless
I’m not sure what the point of having an app is if all it does is direct you to a link to safari or other browser. I should be able to set up and customize my lamp within the app. A waste of space on my phone. I just saved the link.
