  • Predatory lender

    Do not take a loan out with Acima, their extra fees and taxes are insane, and are about 25% of the transaction, and if you were affected by the pandemic or lost your job, they’re not willing to work with you, even if you’re able to do the early buy out option you’ll still pay about 30 % more than what the item is worth, the more you put down, the higher they charge you, probably one of the worst Loans I’ve ever taken out. I was $300 away from my early buy out option and got COVID, miss my date and they wouldn’t work with me at all, you’ll pretty much pay for the item twice or even three times.

  • Easy Access of Item even with low credit

    Took me only 2 minutes to get approved and select my product. I have been using the app for 8 months without any issues. This app has saved me for going debt.
  • Credit scam that preys on the poor be very careful

    If you’re certain you will have the money in 90 days then by all means this is a great credit options. But if you fall into a hardship and can not meet that your item price will double or triple. Leaving you stuck with what is basically now an expensive rental item. You’re only options being cutting your losses and being out of whatever you have put in. Or just stick the lease out and end up paying double or triple an items value
  • Loan sharks by any other name

    If you agree from a merchant to pay for something with Acima, as I did for a pair of glasses, make sure you set up the "early payment agreement" with Acima so that you are paying a sensible and tax / interest free installment which is probably what you are intending. I was sure to do this right away once reading that these people otherwise were expecting me to pay over $1,000 for q $500 pair of glasses, which is 100% interest, something that is literally illegal through any loan or credit provider that pulls your credit information. Skeezy company that prays on poverty and bad credit. The world is full of them. I have paid off my installment without giving them an extra red cent and feel like I need to take a shower now. Screw these vultures and any merchant that partners with them, to be honest. It's unethical.

  • DO NOT RECOMMEND

    This is a terrible app + leasing option overall. There are many underlying fees, they do not always take your payment, they do not offer receipts or payment history, you have little to no idea how much you are paying, how much you have paid, how much you owe, etc etc. I am very disappointed in this company as a whole and would NEVER recommend to anyone else. Definitely not worth it and much better options out there.
  • Pay off in 3 months

    I really like this program. I pay a low down payment and then weekly Pmt’s and take the item the same day. All I want to say is make sure you pay off the item in 3 months, otherwise you will be paying 3 or 4 times more. It has work great for me because I have always pay off in 3 months same as cash but payments.
  • My Balance is incorrect

    I have called multiple times and have explain my issues about the app not being updated to my correct pricing it’s been a 2 months now. I am only paying the amount the my bill /receipt says I have to pay nothing more once I pay what I owe that’s is it Acima will have to figure out what they going to do about the extra $200 they want me to pay (It’s ridiculous that’s customer has to go through this problem that shouldn’t be a problem at all it’s a quick fixed simple ish

  • PAY IN 90 Days

    I love Acima. This is a program for people with crappy credit. If you pay in 90 days all you is a 75 dollar fee. If you don’t you pay out your but in price! But you have to be on top of the 90 day date. It’s YOUR responsibility. It’s honestly my favorite
  • Great Lease to Own plan

    This is an app to view your lease agreements and such and make payments towards your account and buying stuff with their money, honestly very easy to use and understand, so long as you make your payments on time they don’t bug you! Amazing app
  • Great service provided for med to low credit

    After getting denied for credit at the store this option was presented to me. If you fully understand how it works then you will be good. I highly recommend paying off your lease at the early term date or you will be paying double. I would like to thank them for giving me a chance when the big banks didn’t. Will be using again.
