  • Do not use this app!

Currently does not sync between iOS, iPadOS, and the macOS desktop version. You WILL lose data if you even try. I’ve used version 8 for years, but tried this new version, and after numerous attempts to sync records between devices have had to give up on it. Will be investigating other password managers and switching soon.

  • Great update to this simple-to-use App

I like the improvements that you've made and really appreciate the simplicity of this App relative to most other Password Managers I have looked at and the few I have tried.
I've been using SplashID for many years and am glad to see you continue to invest and improve it while keeping it simple!
  • Monumental Piece Of Garbage

Splash ID has always been a piece of junk app. I’ve had it for years only because I didn’t want to go through the process of changing. But when I tried this new version, it became clear to me that I had to finally bite the bullet and abandon it. This wasn’t just because the app didn’t work properly (laggy, wouldn’t sync between apps, poor user interface), but mostly because the Customer Service (which has always been lousy) was terrible. I have a chain of emails which is appalling to read. The people are morons and they really don’t give crap, so why should I. I moved to Bitwarden, which is GREAT and Free. You should too. I just wish I hadn’t wasted so much money over the years on this lousy app.

  • Data transfer fiasco!

Have been a V8 user forever with an unlimited license. I depend on it daily. I thought upgrading to V9 would be seamless and welcomed. Far from it! First off, half my data came into V9 when imported. After several conversations with tech support I’m still unable to fully import my V8 data. I give up. Once support for V8 ends I’m moving elsewhere. It was great while it lasted.

The whole program and import method needs to be rewritten. Also, the method for license transfer is far from intuitive. Pretty much a disaster for what was once a great product.

  • Not ready for prime time

Another long time user and disappointed for the first time. Upgraded from v8 to v9 and lost records, lost the ability to WiFi sync and find that the new interface is harder to navigate and slower. I’ve reverted back to v8 (which is solid and reliable) and will stay there until v9 is in a usable state.

  • Finally Quit This App

This program is buggy at best espeically between other devices. I was traveling and lost my iphone and when I got a new one it would not sink with SplashID. I wrote them I their support page and heard nothing from them. Wrote them again and explained my position and still not reply. I finallly synced locally with my computer and then 2 days iPhone tells my my password is no good. The same password I use on my iPad and Mac. That was it. I bought 1Password and synced every evething straight away. Should have it years ago

  • Terrible Interface

After opening the app, searching seems to be absurdly chaotic. Typing the search term into the box brings up the correct records but as you attempt to click in them the records change and the search results change.

You must edit the note in order to select any text of the note.

Only the entire note may be selected instead of a sing word or a subset of the note.

This app feels like it was written in 2001 by someone who is very new to iOS development.

  • Worst version yet

I’ve been using SplashID for over 20 years. This is a huge backward step - the worst version yet.
  • Support is HORRIBLE - very very very slow

Splash 8 is great. Splash 9, not sure. Contact Splash support is horribly slow. Takes over two weeks and still no response. I have been a user of the Splash products for a very long time, this version and the total lack of support will very likely loose me as a customer.
  • No warning!

Was surprised to find my SplashID non operational this morning. After a bit of research, you have to upgrade. Guess what?, I don’t know my password to my SplashID account. The password reset thing doesn’t work either. Looks like I’m going to have to try to get ahold of customer service. From previous posts, doesn’t sound like they will much help.
