Poor functionality
Need to be redirected to website just to change seat, this is such a basic feature that most other airline apps have. What’s the point of an app if u need to be redirected to the website for everything anyway.BigNate68
Dont rely on this app for gates!
Once it said the wrong gate and we had to walk all the way to the other side of the airport! Another time it wouldnt tell us the gate. Info is inaccurate and sometimes they dont update it. Pretty useless for a so called “award winning” airline!Billycam33
Why no iPad support?
It’s really quite sad that basic functionality has not been implemented for iPads. It seems strange that no one thought how inconvenient it is to have to use the app only in portrait mode, and then to have to double the size to use the whole iPad screen.spurtunes
Really terrible app.
Extremely frustrating experience working with air New Zealand and this app I’ve gotten used to using airlines apps but was extremely disappointed with air New Zealand’s app. Tried to add an extra prepaid bag but impossible to work with. Had to call in and was charged a massive service fee to do something that should be able to be done online. Clunky app and really unhelpful. Deleting old flights
Great app, use it all the time as I fly frequently with Air NZ. Very convenient. However, I have a fair few old flights that I can’t delete and it’s kind of frustrating having to go through them. If they fix this problem, will be a 5 star app 😊EmilyKateSimpson95
Need info, but hard to read on iPad
I want this app because I need the information it provides. But it is hard to read. In portrait mode, the opening screen display is too big to fit on my iPad display, so I can’t see everything that is there. And I can’t get the screen to display in landscape mode at all, so either way, it is hard to see and read the information. I will only use this app when absolutely necessary.Show lessBobbieMcN
Poor website and iphone7 navigation
Is it my imagination but I’ve been trying for 2 days to book a multi-city, international flight to/from the USA using both the Air NZ website and app. Either way, it is extremely difficult to navigate. I’m going to instead book the flight on United (with codeshare to Air NZ) as I know for sure that multi-stop bookings are allowed.
