  • Unacceptable delivery time to Canada

My last three postcards sent with Touchnote took 16 to 18 days to cross the border from the US to Canada. I tried 2 other programs and they deliver in 7-8 days! I'm not the only one complaining. Check the other comments. Touchnote does not care about delivery times to its Canadian customers anymore.

  • App crashes continuously & my credits were taken

I used this app a few times & enjoyed it. I had purchased some credits to use in the future & about a month ago, I came back to use the app only to discover that the app continuously crashes & my credit balance had disappeared. Their customer service got me set up through some sort of back end & ignored my repeated requests to reinstate my credit balance claiming they are only good for a year due to rising costs. My question is: how much does it cost to hold a rolling balance on your books? If there is a law against gift cards from setting an expiry date why isn’t there one for companies like Touch Note? To name a few, balances on Amazon, eBay or Apple Music do not expire or any gift card that you purchase.

  • Stick to your knitting

I liked this app initially and have a number of credits remaining however I seldom use it. The long delivery time to Canada (weeks!!) discourages use. Now I see they are expanding into things like baby blankets. Focus on this good idea and get it back to being a great service/product. Otherwise it will fizzle.......and too many promo emails!!

  • Hummm

Payment is painful. And if you flick between stages you lose text.
  • Great product

I’ve been using this app for a while now and although the cards can work out fairly expensive they are worth the money. It is great to be able to use your own photos to send and you haven’t got the hassle of buying stamps and finding postboxes, especially when abroad. I send my elderly parents postcards from everywhere I go and they are always thrilled to receive them. The postcards arrive quickly and if the postcard is not received TouchNote resend it free of charge, no questions asked. The only criticism I have is that TouchNote have now introduced a rule where you only have a year to spend your credits. So if you decide to buy a larger credit pack to reduce the cost of each card, beware that you don’t run out of time to use them.

  • Great way to send postcards home

I am very happy with TouchNote but have only used it for sending postcards to family and friends in Australia when I have been travelling. I like being able to copy an existing postcard and then edit for another recipient.
There are a couple of annoying things.
    1. Trying to edit text is cumbersome and hard to get cursor to the right point. It then jumps to the end and deletes text.
    2. After submission it offers an improved option which you must see as there is no way to opt out. You then have to say ‘no thanks’.
Overall it is a great app for keeping in touch while away from home.

  • one card was missing my msg

I first heard about this app through a commercial while I was watching TV. I quickly downloaded after reading reviews and I thought this would be a cute way to send my family nice cards that live very far away from me. I created and ordered 2 postcards. The app itself is easy to navigate. The layout and designs offered are really cute. When I placed an order, I got an email later on confirming that my postcard was mailed. However as I was looking at the image of my order I noticed that the message I wrote was missing. I panicked and looked at the order on my phone which had the message I wrote. I emailed customer service to confirm if my message was missing on my postcard and they wrote back that it was missing but TouchNote fixed the error and mailed out another card. It was really disappointing that I had to tell the person I was surprising the postcard with that they were getting two cards. One without my message and one with my message. I’m happy about the customer service though, they quickly resolved it for free and apologized. I might order another in the future... but warning anyone buying... please check your confirmation emails and make sure your message for that person is there.

  • Disappointed bucket list pics

Updating my review A’s TouchNote have tried hard to put things right, I did as they recommended and downloaded photoshop to get my pictures brighter and clearer, such a difference. There were quite a few problems trying to get another frame through, it wouldn’t let me edit then couldn’t put on my address and I had to take off then download updated versions of the app.
Anyhow I slogged on and TouchNote tech team fixed the glitches and we got there! Well hope we did as it’s on the way! Thank you TouchNote team for helping.

So we go on our first ever cruise, lots of pictures taken on our bucket list Baltic Tour ( I’m over 2 years into a 3 to 5 year diagnosis with terminal breast cancer so we though a good way to see several cities) I do a beautiful big GALLERY frame, my first order with TouchNote. It looks ok on preview but so dark when it arrived. I’ve asked if they could lighten it to print again ( after looking out and sending them each of the pictures I used, this took some time!) the reply, no, can’t help because the pics are pretty dark, they look ok on your gadget because of the projected light. I wish someone had looked at it and got back to me before printing what is a something too dark to hang. Very disappointed. Was given 3 credits, thank you for that.

    Developer Response

Hi there, I am very sorry that we have not been able to meet your expectations on this occasion. I know that a member of our senior management team has been in touch directly with you and I hope that we can resolve your concerns. Kind regards, TouchNote
  • Login issues but great otherwise

Consistently get errors when signing in, but once you bypass the error (mostly when trying to log in with Facebook), the app & postcards are awesome!
  • Good app

I have been using TouchNote to send postcards for over a year. The quality of the postcard and printing of the photos exceeded my expectations. The app is easy to use. I have used the app while in the US and overseas and have mailed to US and UK. The estimated days of arrival have been as advertised. The only reason this is a 4 star not a 5 star is there were a couple occasions the postcard did not arrive at the destination. It is simple and free to reorder the same postcard if you know the original didn’t get to the destination. Once the second iteration didn’t arrive either. I don’t know if that was an issue with TouchNote, or at the receiving end (a hospital). I just bought another 40 credits because I plan to continue to send a lot of postcards.
