  • Pointless app does nothing

    After (like many of you) receiving terrible service from UPS and their “first failed attempt” of a package which could have been posted through the letter box I decided to download this app to add some instructions and hopefully get alerts when they change their delivery window with 10 seconds notice. Well I shouldn’t have bothered, this app is completely useless and as far as I can tell has no functionality at all. Can’t set up alerts to tell you if their driver is going to be earlier, can’t add delivery or leave in a safe place instructions for the driver absolute shambles. So I’ll be sat in a deck chair on Monday wrapped up warm outside my front door waiting for the sneaky delivery (I was in my garden last time as the came an hour before the original window) so hopefully this will be the last time I ever have to deal with UPS

  • When the package is getting delivered.

    The app is showing me that the UPS truck is on the East side of town. I looked five minutes later UPS truck is in same spot. I am assuming that the truck will be here within the hour. I am waiting outside for them to show up because we have shady people in our neighborhood and it is jewelry from JC Pennies that I am getting delivered. I like that the UPS so gives me a time frame as to when I should be expecting my delivery. One time I had a delivery from Fed Ex it was an Apple Watch . The Fed Ex guy did not come to my door with it, and instead gave it to a stranger who was standing at the door of the upstairs apartment door. I live down stairs. They did not even check to see if I was home or even attempt to bring the item to where it was addressed to. They just gave it to some random stranger that was hanging out outside my apartment. Luckily the girl that lives in the upstairs apartment knew me and got my watch from the random stranger that Fed Ex gave my watch to and got my watch and brought it to me. You can believe I called Apple and Fed Ex and thru a fit about how my watch was not delivered properly. So now when I see it getting close to delivery time I try to watch out my door or just wait outside till the delivery gets here. Except in the winter then I watch on my front doorbell camera for the delivery driver. Also it is nice to get notifications of when package has been delivered then I know if I missed the delivery person.

  • White screen of death. Lol

    App version 9.10.2 is 100% broken and only shows a white screen. It’s completely useless. It’s been almost a month since last update. The developers need to get their asses in gear and fix this already

    I read a lot of bad reviews here. I have to disagree.
    1 app rating is high from me, it provides information. It tells me when it will be picked up, when it will be delivered and when it was delivered. Even with 3 hour window this is helpful.
    2 company rating, very officiant and professional when I had to contact them once. In all the years only once.
    3 courier rating, I guess we are the lucky ones. We have a good local courier, he’s well spoken, polite and helpful. I rate him with 5 stars. And I want to rate 5 stars his sub too, just as good.
    My rating is based on my personal experience, please bare in mind that UPS here is a premium and not the main post service, Royal Mail is. However I would rate them exactly the same.

  • App No Longer Launching!

    App no longer launches on iPhone or iPad. This started happening maybe after IOS 16.5.1? When attempting to open the app, receive blank white screen then popped back to device home page.
  • Terrible service

    UPS have failed to deliver for the second time, original delivery was supposed to be arriving before end of day on 2 June 2023, I took the day off work and waited in my house all day, I phoned customer services on two occasions during that day and was told that my parcel would definitely be delivered before end of day, I received a text at 21:00 informing me that they had changed the delivery day to Monday 5 June 2023, I again took the day off work I order to sign for the parcel as my signature was required on delivery, I waited in all day and checked for updates for my delivery on UPS web site and again it was stated that my parcel would be delivered before end of day, I received a text at 22:00 on the 5 June 2023 informing me that my parcel would not be arriving and a new delivery date would be provided as soon as possible.
    I am surprised UPS are still in business when they are so incompetent at delivering packages and as they have a totally disregard for customer service.

  • Just about useless

    This app is pretty much only good for tracking packages which should be possible without an app accept for the fact that UPS's "service" has turned to junk. Delivery is rarely done without issues (late, etc.). This app is pretty much useless in fixing those problems. What little can be done to fix delivery issues with this app are now services that UPS CHARGES FOR (i.e. changing delivery date or to pick up at facility/ UPS store). I recently used the app to change delivery date of a signature-required package to a WEEK later and was charged 10 bucks to do so. That was the only option the app showed available. UPS "confirmed" that my delivery date was updated, I stayed home the day that tracking showed my package would arrive only to be notified at 6:00 PM that my package would be delivered the next day. The only option the app gave me was to AGAIN pay 10 dollars to change the delivery date. What a waste of time. I had to call and spend more time with customer service to change the package to be picked up at the nearest UPS facility. All of that, by the way, was after paying 30 dollars to "upgrade" to UPS shipping. This will be the last time I have anything shipped through UPS when I have an option. USPS would have had the package ( a DOCUMENT, BTW) in my mailbox last week. So sad that UPS has gotten so bad at shipping packages. It used to be my preferred method.

  • Waste of your time!!!

    This is so inaccurate! It’s best to call them and speak to someone this app is a waste of time!!!!
  • Always reschedules packages

    I gave UPS the benefit of the doubt since I 100% understand many delays are out of the driver’s control. I also don’t like giving bad reviews. However, this is my last straw. I have watched several UPS drivers drive past my apartment making no attempt to deliver my package now. I will be waiting for packages because I work from home and then get an email saying “Sorry we missed you” as they drive off. This has happened way too many times now and I’m sick of it. Every package that was sent by UPS ALWAYS gets rescheduled and I end up having to wait days and then pick it up at a UPS pick up point. At this point, they should have all packages dropped off at the pick up point to save people the frustration and disappointment. Or just order from vendors that doesn’t deliver through UPS. I never have any problems with USPS or FedEx. The cherry on top is this app, which a complete waste of time. I would give it zero stars if I could. The “MyChoice” doesn’t work at all and the “virtual assistant” chat is automatically generated and does not help solve my problem at all. Horrible user experience overall. Save yourself the headache, and have your packages delivered by another company.

  • Hilariously bad!

    Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Surely this app is an actual joke? I hope so because that’s the only explanation for how bad it is. Unable to really do anything useful on this app; including login. I will just have to wait and see what happens to my delivery. My email says confidently ‘your parcel will be delivered on Tuesday’, but knowing UPS that’s meaningless. I’m looking forward to getting a text message five minutes after they ‘tried’ to deliver it saying ‘I wasn’t in’. But of course I was in. The doorbell never rang. My phone number wasn’t called. I didn’t even get an email telling me the guy was at the door with my parcel. Funny that. And then I will be given options to change the delivery day or collect from the depot. But I won’t be able to follow up on any of these options. Because; the app doesn’t work. And unless I’m willing to call a contact centre and go through endless options to then speak to somebody who tells me ‘it’s out for delivery again’. Anyway… It’s all very pointless really. Just like this app. Perhaps the joke is on us? Bur, it’s not very funny.
