    I’ve had the app for a few years, it’s mostly fine. A problem I’ve had recently that’s very annoying is my account won’t open when I try to use my fingerprint feature on my phone. I’d let it scan my fingerprint, then it would continually ask me to do it again and again, and it’s work if I reregister my phone but only for a few logins.

  • Needs intelligent updating

    UPDATE, 2020: Trying to add a payment to a biller whose name starts with “T”, but the app won’t scroll down the list that far. Portrait or Landscape mode makes no difference. Great! Now how am I supposed to get this bill paid?! Once I finish the migration, all my banking will be with another institution and AKUSA will be history.
    UPDATE, 2019: I don’t recommend this app. After almost 30 years with this institution, I just can’t even recommend using AlaskaUSA for any regular banking anymore, really. They changed the BillPay system and drastically complicated it. I used to schedule the bills to be paid ON my paydays and things went smoothly for years. Now the system includes both Send and Delivery dates for a payment. I found the system unnecessarily cumbersome and confusing. Several times now I’ve been hit by bills being paid when I don’t have the funds to cover them and ended up with hundreds of dollars overdrawn PLUS AKUSA’s $25 each overdraft fine! I don’t understand the reason for the change in the first place and I don’t understand how this is supposed to make my banking experience easier. After 29 as a member of AKUSA, I can’t take the financial burden of their BillPay “service”. I’m going to start migrating my business over to my USAA accounts.

  • Remote deposit 🤦‍♀️

    I love alaska usa! Buuut... I keep having issues with the remote deposit. Keep getting the please try again message. I tried deleting the app and downloading it again but that didn’t help. I keep having to find someone else to use their app. This is getting quite annoying. I did call in and mention my problem but nothing was taken care of it.

    Their features are good, but amongst other banking institutions. You’d think their app could be a little more up to date? Nonetheless, they’re what I would consider a “small” credit union so there are pros and cons to every situation. Nonetheless, I would appreciate a pending transactions located in the balance area that’s shows a true balance amount of those pending transactions subtracted already. Maybe round the edges of your buttons, create a slightly vibrant appearance.

  • Face ID issues

    I have several bank apps on my iPhone and all of them have no issues with Face ID. When I open Alaska USA app the Face ID just keeps on reloading and the app doesn’t open up. It has only worked once during the initial setup and once I logged out it’s stuck in the loading stage. To by pass this I constantly have to manually enter user id and password. I rarely use this bank other then to pay mortgage and it’s annoying that a simple option doesn’t work.

  • Finger Print ID

    Since the upgrade to the Login process, my Finger Print ID no longer works. When I attempt to use it, it simply keeps popping up the Finger Print Login then I have to actually enter my User ID and Password. Once I login the old fashioned way, I go to Biometrics and delete my device and add it back, Logout, and it starts all over again with my never getting the Front Print ID to EVER work. It worked just fine before the update. PLEASE FIX IT. Thank You!!!!!!

  • Updated Bill Pay isn’t user friendly at all!!

    You guys have recently updated or acquired a new system for Bill Pay..well, you need to go back to the old system because if you seriously think this new version is better or easier to use...you’re wrong!! Everything I’ve accustomed to before were gone. This new update or new vendor just ruined it. I can see pending or upcoming bills but it won’t let me schedule future bills with future dates. The dates are immediately plugged in for me and I can’t change it!! I need to be able to change the dates!! I’ve had Bill Pay service ever since they started a long time ago since 2002-ish (I think) and it was working fine and I’ve gotten used to it until now. It’s difficult to navigate. It’s to a point where I can say it’s a waste of time for me to use it! I might have to look elsewhere to use Bill Pay. Pls fix it and make it user friendly again. Thanks.

  • Policy for Spouses

    This is the first time I have ever run into a problem accessing our joint account. Because I am not the primary I am not able to access the the online banking through the app if I accidentally locked myself out. The primary on the account has to call in and have it reset. This policy by Alaska USA is infuriating to bank with as I can call and ask for balance and transfers. I can even write checks or make withdrawals but can not access the app or the online account. Absolutely makes no sense.

  • Bill Pay Update

    We have used this app for a long time. Never had any problems. Now that Bill Pay has been updated, it will not let me choose the day to make the payments. It forces me to pay on the current day. We like to set the payment up several days in advance which was possible before the update. What gives?
  • Great but not working lately

    Love the app for remote depositing checks. However, the past few days I have been trying to remote deposit and keep getting the “Transaction error”. Which says “The service is not available at this time. Please try again later.” Hopefully that gets fixed soon.
