  • Pure chaos

    No step by step guide on how to use. Don’t know if you are actually booking, seat reservations are through other companies, not user friendly in anyway. Very stressful
    When planning trip with children. Lots of work needed to get to two stars. Only online line email support that takes two weeks to have a five min conversation. Not effective and problem still not resolved

    There is no way to reserve a seat on it, and you still need to pay extra 100 euros for euro star lines. Also there is no customer service, I submitted tickets but no response. Don’t buy.

  • Completely useless

    This app is a real dud. I CANNOT get any planned trips to add to my pass.
    I have been threatened with fines from the conductor because I do not have a valid ticket, even tho I have a sear reservation.
    I asked three officials from Trenitalia (Italy) for help, and none of them could make it work either.

    I am so disappointd, and ancious. I have paid well over $1500 Australian for a Eurail pass for 2 and cannot make it work.

    40 years ago I travelled throught Europe with a Eurail card whoch you took to a ticket office, got a ticket and if necessary paid for a reservation.

    It was a hell of a lot easier than this piece of junk app - plus you didn't have to find wifi!

  • Timetable info woefully inadequate

    The app needs to get more timetable info so that users can find real journeys. If I had just relied on Rail Planner for one of my journeys I would have been stranded in a small town because the only train the app offered for the second leg of my journey had been cancelled many days earlier due to scheduled track work. Where I was travelling there are dozens of ways to smoothly get from one place to another but Rail Planner only gave me one option that didn’t actually exist. It doesn’t matter what other bells and whistles the app has, if you can’t actually Plan a real-world Rail trip it doesn’t work.

  • Reservation system leaves a lot to be desired.

    The reservation system is super clunky. Either sell me a ticket to a seat on the train or don’t. Don’t make me reserve separately through 3rd party websites.

  • Travel day glitch

    Had a 15 travel day pass which worked fine for the first 12 days but for some reason didn’t let me load my tickets for the 13th day. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting my phone and nothing worked. Didn’t have time to contact anyone as I had a train to catch so I had to buy a ticket. Not happy!

  • Difficult to use while in transit

    Awesome concept but seemed to be difficult to bring up pass or reserve trains. Be interested if there was an alternative to book with multiple train lines cuz it great concept. But stressful if you are travelling on time crutch and want to get where you are going without too many surprises.
  • Good as booking seats was a bit of a struggle but

    Thank you eurail pass had little problems with finding the trains and whatnot but otherwise real good except booking seats was slightly difficult and confusing but easy to figure out
  • Fabulous!

    Just returned from a 3 month Eurail trip (global pass). The app worked perfectly and we now have a complete record of our trip. Any weaknesses were because of rail lines rather than Eurail. Be sure to read the Eurail info on how to use the app properly and enjoy!
