Best way to travel!
We signed up with Home Exchange about 4 months ago and already had a family stay at our place and we were lucky enough to find a beautiful apartment in Paris during a layover. We love to connect with people from all over the world - it adds a whole new dimension to traveling! Especially for families, who often travel on a tighter budget Home Exchange makes dreams come true.

Photos, translations not working
Have been using app for a while. It lacks some of the features of the website, but worse, the translation feature doesn’t work at all. So you then have to get on the website to translate. The website is poor too - most of the photos don’t load correctly. That’s across multiple devices and networks (including cellular) that I’ve tried. Two years we have been on HE and we have an amazing experience! Reciprocal exchanges good but ability to have exchanges for GP points opened so many doors. We are going to USA to travel for 6 weeks and using GP points . Everyone who hosted us so far was amazing.

Has become glitchy
Love Home Exchange but the app seems less impressive.
Recently the map search feature is very difficult to use. Moving around on the map is very glitchySteveHes23
Average at best could be much better
- Automatic response options don’t always appear.
- No translation option for homes described in a different language.
- You can’t even copy the home description or the personal information text to paste into a translation app.
- The home of potential exchange partner does not always appear in the ’homes’ tab.
- you can’t view your own listing as others would see it
- you can’t manage your group membership
It appears that the website now has a ‘better on the app’ banner that I cannot dismiss on my iPhone.
Come on guys! Stop telling us that you’re polishing every nook an cranny on each update and make *some* attempt to improve this appShow lessiain1248
