  • The least user friendly I have ever seen

I have to say out of all the sites I deal with on a daily basis since everything is online now, and I’m very good in learning something new and I’m very quick in learning anything online related, and I don’t have any issues with any other sites online medical related or non medical. But this northshore connect site is the lease friendly, most confusing site I have ever encountered. Nothing is clear and I find myself going in circle to just find one simple thing. I try to avoid using it all I can.

  • Overly complicated visually

The layout is not intuitively designed. it’s designed around the one person’s mind thinks…., bad deal. It’s overly busy ironically in its attempts to be simple. But too many headers lead to too few logical landing points and the depth leaves a lot to be desired. There is nothing powerful about the app making it a “tool” for the user, but rather more of a maze. Get a different coder and get the flowchart structure of the app simplified and make user data in tests and inquiry data useful to adults analyzing it, not a child’s simple mindedness to just se a number that means Nothing without context and chart HISTORY graphs. After all how can you empower your users and patients if they can’t get a visual idea as to where they’ve been, where they are at last test and where they need to go. Lay it out for adults. It’s useless the way it’s currently laid out citing user/patients no feedback for them to work with

  • Great concept, implementation has problems

I’m still using this app and it does work for most uses most of the time. But the number of times it fails requiring a phone call to the office is way too high. The worst offender is in making appointments, if I select a doctor and that doctor is expecting me to make an appointment there should be some way to make an appointment with that doctor. The system can’t just assign another one at random no matter what responses are given.

  • App

I generally like it, but I would like for the interface to settle down and not have as many changes (updates).
I am extremely happy to be able to get test results in a timely manner, and in a way that I can think about them before I contact my healthcare professional team.
I am extremely happy to be able to contact my healthcare team with non-urgent requests and information.
I am extremely happy to be able to make appointments via the app.

  • WISHING IT WEREN’T TRUE!

While I am slowly getting used to this one-way communication, I don’t like it! I’m used to being able to pick up the phone and call my physician directly. From my patient perspective, this seems to me to be a clever way to avoid talking to patients. I suppose that some of your patients would drive you crazy and overuse the privilege of making a direct call; and I must admit that, as a lawyer, I had plenty of those kinds of calls! Guess I’m old-fashioned; used to 2-way calls; & answered my own comment!!

  • This is bad

I can’t reach my doctor but have to go though this app. I did not receive a 90 day prescription but only a 30 day. No one has gotten back to me to correct this.

I need my labs ordered and no one let me know if they have been en entered. The doctor is NOT the problem, the problem is having to use this app. I even stopped by her office but didn’t get to speak with a nurse. They just have a receptionist put in the same message. This is ridiculous.

  • Jesus, Northshore, leave me alone!

They will text alert you at 7:08 am on a Sunday to let you know your $39 bill is now available to pay.
Want a first-thing-in-the-morning appointment? I received a text reminder at 5:45am this morning. Thanks freakin' Northshore, you just knew I wanted to wash and style my hair and chose an outfit and drive 25 mph for my annual physical!
You can reply stop to their texts, but they override it.
    Nightmare!

  • Updated app review

The old app wash much easier to navigate, this version makes locating information confusing. Probably should have rated it 2 stars. Sorry not a happy camper with update, you have to take senior users in consideration when updating maneuverability of the app.
  • Health information

This is the best app! I have my medical records at my fingertips. I had a recent cancer diagnosis, if I need to access labs, radiology reports or physicals, everything is right there. I can track my bills or see what insurance covered. Thus app allows my healthcare and services to be very transparent.
