  • No longer working

    I’ve used this app with a window air conditioner for 5 or 6 years. It worked okay. A few glitches each spring when I started using it for the season but no big deal. This year it was working fine and then a few days ago the app wouldn’t open. I understand. It happens with many apps from time to time. Delete the app, reinstall, log back in and all is good. But not in this case. I reinstalled the app but can’t log in. So I figured I’d create a new login. No go. It won’t allow that either. I just get a “there was a problem…, blah,blah,blah. Since I cant get the app to open, I can’t get to tech support. Can’t even get to a page where there might be a phone number. I am completely stuck.

    "I have been a user of this app for several years, and each time there is an update, it seems to create more issues. I am puzzled as to why tracking my location is necessary for me to simply operate my air conditioner. As someone battling stage four cancer, it is frustrating that I am unable to use the app to control my AC without having to physically get up. The previous functionality worked perfectly fine for me. I am concerned about the requirement to access my precise location and personal information just to manage my air conditioning. I intend to discuss this matter with my attorney next week as I believe it may infringe on my rights."

    Basically only to know when my laundry is done. My phone dings ! Not too much else you can do with the app. I wouldn’t mind if it told me how long the laundry took to wash or dry. Some times it goes longer then says on the machine.
    The app has updated and it only took a few years haha anyhoo it’s much better now. Can actually do a few more things with it. Set it to start when wanted and change the settings on the machine with the app kinda neat. Much better then it was at least. I like to know when I get busy that my clothes are done and I can fold them before they wrinkle. A plus. I can’t wait to see what happens when I am not home and they get done.? I’ll try to update if possible

  • Slightly Glitchy, But Worthwhile

    Update 4/24: stopped working for 2 months. No amount of trying to reinstall or reprogram helped. It suddenly started working again last week and seems to be fine. I suspect it was incompatible with a recent iOS update and had to be modified. I’m just glad it’s working again!

    Love getting Apple Watch notifications when the dryer is done, so I can fold clothes before wrinkles set in. Occasionally sends multiple alerts for the same event, and has stopped working once In a year+ of use. Uninstall/reinstall fixed the issues. Benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

    Been using my Kenmore elite now for 2+ years. Wouldn’t want to change it for anything else.
  • Notifications do not work

    Having a smart appliance the most basic functionality should be the ability to receive a notification when the washer or dryer finishes. The app is connected to both appliances but no matter what the settings will not send a push notification when the cycle is finished. I can open the app to see how much time is left but once it finishes, it never sends the notification to my phone. It used to work like a year ago but stopped working and has never worked again. I’ve done everything including uninstalling and reinstalling the app and removing and readding the washer and dryer . And making sure the notifications are turned on. I have an iPhone

  • New app update has a lot of improvements.

    The recent app update has a lot of benefits it looks better and seems to be more consistent

    Previously Not the best interface in the world but very helpful w/additional wash programs and the ability to tell time remaining in the wash cycle A true interface that allowed customization and wasn’t dependent on presenting the washer for remote programming would be a better interface

  • The app works well, just not so easy to set up

    I was able to get the washer working with the app with little aggravation, but the dryer was difficult. Just wouldn’t work. Was great when both worked on the app, then the dryer portion went again. I believe the app update fixed it as both are working well now. Knock on wood....so, now it seems to be working a lot better with fewer glitches.
    Seems the new update has made everything better and clearer. Seems like a more interesting format.

  • Smart???

    How about hiring developers who know what error handling is. Tried to connect to my grill today. Usually no problem. Today it just spun forever. No error message. Tried adding my grill again. The app found it via Bluetooth, prompted me to push to power button, then gave a meaningless error message. I logged out. When I tried to log in I got a different meaningless error message. Thinking that my only option was to start over, I created a new account. That’s when I finally got a “server error” message. It’s likely that the entire issue was due to the server being down. Instead of spinning forever, how about an error dialog explaining that the server can’t be reached?

  • App stopped working

    (Problem was resolved so I updated rating scacordingly ) I can no longer connect to my fridge through the app no matter what I try. I have to manually enter the info because it doesn’t like my QR codes anymore. Very frustrating, it says it’s connected to my Wi-Fi already but it is not. When I try to connect to a different SSID the loading animation just spins and spins. I wish I could reset everything and go back to first setup because something is bugging!
