Didn’t realize I’d like so much
Forced to buy new washer and came w Bluetooth/app for just a bit more so upgraded from old school top load washer w no bells or whistles to front load one w app. Since washer’s on another floor I don’t have to go on a trek to listen that washer’s done anymore. I didn’t realize how much I liked and used app til I encountered a glitch with it. (I ended up unplugging washer overnight after trying to do everything else short of calling assistance number and problem resolved). I’d give it 5 stars if I hadn’t encountered the glitch.Show lessOhiolisa
One Star Is Too Many
App is not usable. I have been waiting for an activation email for the last 2 hours. Sears is dying and I see why. Cannot talk to a live person for anything and the app cannot be activated. Good riddance.
Update. My first comment was 5 months ago. Today I tried to activate the app again because my dryer suddenly decided on its own to start an odd cycle that I cannot terminate. I think it is tied to the smart app and hoped to use the app to make a change. No go. Still cannot get the activation email, although I was able to reset my password. This is just terrible and there is. O support from Sears. No more Kenmore products for me.Show lessOttoVonK
Not working
I have already sent my email to support. I have been trying for the last two days to connect my new kenmore elite refrigerator with the app. Initially the product would not connect with my WIFI. After many many many attempts it finally worked( I think). I can’t really tell because although the smart icon is highlighted on the refrigerated, the app is not showing any updated information. It is still showing I need to add the product. Now I’m wondering if something is wrong with the new refrigerator. Hopefully, I’ll get a response soon to my email, because I’m about ready to call Sears to have them replace the refrigerator.Show lessDj the original
Unable to update
Update: The app does work now. It shows when filters get changed. It also has max mode in order to get rid of any smell, not that mine does. But it’s a feature on the air filter. I wish it helped diagnose the refrigerator considering everything is electronic.

New app
Looks like they FINALLY updated their app. Their old app was trash and wouldn't notify me and my wife when dryer/washer cycles were complete. It was one or the other. 🙄 It was a little tricky to get going bit now seems to work for both of us. The old app would drop settings and require you to re-register your appliances every week or so. We’ll see how that works but for now hopefully they got rid of whomever was designing the old app.Show lessMichael August
