  • Ruined Anniversary

    We are on day 4 of our 10 day anniversary dream trip and Sandals ruined our 20 year anniversary last night. We paid $1000 for romance package and not one thing went as promised. They did not bring the champagne. They refused the spa treatment we signed up for at the cabana and said we had to go inside to get the leg and feet massage as we signed up for. Worst of all though the escort never showed up at the designated meeting place to take us to our candlelight dinner . We ended up having to eat a hamburger and fried fish at the pub on our 20 year anniversary. VERY poorly run facility as so many other issues outside of this also to discuss. I have over 1500 nights with Marriott and know what good looks like.

  • Simply The Best

    Fantastic resort . Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Food, drinks , rooms , whole resort excellent.
    Impeccable customer service and very helpful & friendly staff.
    Great management team , Peter, Matthew, Victor etc .Always visible ensuring resort runs smoothly.
    We are extensively travelled . Having stayed in over 50 , 5 star resorts across the Caribbean & Mexico this resort stands above the rest overall. Very consistent across the board. It was our 2nd time at this resort and was as great as last year.

  • Restaurant closure

    One of the 4 a la carte restaurants - arguably the best one- was closed for the entire week. And another was closed was for 2 of the 7 days that we were there.

    This isn’t good when you have a total of 5 restaurants for dinner
  • Reality check not all couples are married !!

    Apparently according to the customer service representative that I spoke to all couples are supposed to be married. Only one person can be logged into the confirmation number. Let me go back to the beginning. I booked and paid for everything on my upcoming trip to sandals resort (EVERYTHING) it all went to my email I was logged into their website on my account when I made the reservation. Everything is in my name with my information. My BOYFRIEND signed into the app and created an account to be able to go on this app. He had the booking confirmation number and put it in. Being he signed into this app and put his information in with the confirmation number now I can’t pull up anything and he gets the points from the stay and not me when I paid for everything. I can bring up ANYTHING or see ANYTHING that has to do with the trip. When I called customer service for the app I was told that a couples should only have one account because couples are supposed to be married so being that he signed in and use the confirmation number first it will be on his account and the only way for me to change it is for me to mail them my bank statement with the proof that I paid for the trip. I’m not sending my bank statement 🤬 also why can’t they see everything is in my name not his. So strike 1 on this vacation.

    Takes too long to load resorts
  • Not the vacation we paid for.

    Sandals Royal Bahamian sold rooms the they knew would be under renovation and that the guests would be moved to alternative accommodation. In March of 2023 we booked an East Bay Oceanview swim up butler room (category BSUP). We were given an Island Village butler room (category VPP). Instead of ocean view listening to waves we had a garden near a busy road. Leaf blowers at 7:00 AM and one night a DJ beside the room playing bop music at crazy volume.

  • Disappointed in Barbados

    Our booking category was ocean front club level. With that we were supposed to have concierge level service. From the time we landed in Barbados we quickly realized that was not what we were receiving. Every request we had we were told no to…included asking for a second room key. Restaurants were not available…walk up restaurants were booked for hours, club level exclusive excursions unavailable. When asked to speak with management of club level they stated they would investigate my concerns and would follow up with me…48 hours later no follow up. I have managed my own bookings, even finding private transportation to explore our options….save your money and book elsewhere!

  • Unable to book using app

    App is very glitchy and indicates error codes for almost every function. Unfortunately not a good customer experience!

    Also, almost every restaurant and tour indicates fully booked. Given this supposed to be a 5 star experience, Sandals should do a better job ensuring capacity for hotel dinner reservations and tours when the hotel is fully booked. Every guest should at least have one opportunity to visit a restaurant that requires reservations and to enjoy the tours.

    Although I have tried to log into the app numerous times, and had messages saying someone was sorting it, I’m still unable to find my holiday…
