Great food and great prices, but the app need some work
There isn’t much different about this compared to other restaurant mobile order apps, but there are a few things I’d like to tell the developers if they are reading this.
First, I have my location turned on “always” and this app has access to it, but for some reason every restaurant I go to says that their system is waiting for my arrival and so it always takes them a while to start my order after I arrive.
Secondly, I hate that I have to preselect deals and then choose them again at checkout. Why not just have every coupon available at checkout? It adds that much more time to the process. It may not sound like much, but when compared to a well built app like Chick fil a, it can get annoying.

Great food terrible app
I am a large man who eats fast food frequently. So I know my fast food apps. And this is by far the worst app of all fast food restaurants. I had to cancel my account and start a new one just to remove the tamales from the promo so I can check out. Now I have the mini shakes added for Valentine’s Day and it’s not giving me the discount. Del taco is fantastic. The app is garbage. please fix this. Your loving fans want to buy your delicious food. if you select a promo, it should automatically put it in your cart. You shouldn’t have to select it again during checkout. But even then when you select it, it doesn’t apply the discount.

The worst.
I’m not sure how this app can continue to be this bad.
I constantly have to re-enter my SAVED CC.
If you select a location then select a saved order - the app changes the location without notification.
You really can’t figure out saving my CC? That’s one of the most basic function of this app.
Card number is correct and unchanged from prior order.
Expiration date is correct and unchanged from prior order.
CCV is still correct and unchanged from prior order.
Responses the app gives to my saved and previously used CC (that ALWAYS WORKS WHEN I ADD IT BACK AGAIN (&again &again) and again:
Credit Card x-1234 Declined: Card was not approved.

Invalid billing account. Please supply a different (or new) credit card.

After once again re-entering THE EXACT SAME CC #, EX. DATE, and CCV the now CC works again and the order is approved. Until the next time I try to use the saved CC. HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN.

Great food and service
I’ve always liked Del taco, especially the chicken burrito supreme. But that Carne Asada queso torta is so good. I am just like addicted to those right now. The bread is nice and soft and the meat is fresh and it just has such a good taste to it. And then last week I was at the Del taco on mountain in Ontario and then a few weeks ago. The one on Gary in Pomona and both places I got excellent service with a smile, so I have been very impressed with Del Taco Thank you

Like the older app better.
In the past two years or so I have used this app three times to access a perk. All three times it took the people at the counter some time to figure out how to get my order in. Today I spent about 10 minutes trying to get the Two For $10 Torta offering to work. Went into the store and it took the cashier about 4.5 minutes (timed) and a lot of frustration to finally get the scan tag up. (And yes, the Tortas were good, 5 star, unlike the app’s 2.)

TRASH APP
This review has nothing to do with any sense of entitlement (as another reviewer suggested with regards to low ratings from others), but everything to do with FUNCTIONALITY AND USABILITY. I am tech savvy enough and know my way around using apps. I’ve been giving this app chance after chance. Just now-as I’m trying to place an order, all of my payment info has been wiped out. At checkout, I’ve entered my card # at least 4 (FOUR) times now and each time I go to save it or complete checkout, it glitches and I have to start completely over, since it doesn’t retain any information at all whatsoever. WHO WOULDN'T FEEL COMPLETELY FRUSTRATED FROM THIS EXPERIENCE??
I’m going to Taco Bell. Granted, their food isn’t as good and fresh, but at least THEIR APP WORKS!

Ok food app
The app is pretty convenient not too far off from any other fast food app the layout of the app is convenient and easy to navigate however I do dislike the lack of drive-through option and how the app wants you to go in the store to pick up but that’s just the way they do it. there needs to be some improvements however such as side items why am I not able to buy pico to Gallo as a side item on the app and only I can get it in store and the customization options need some attention to one item I can substitute sauce but on the torta I cannot substitute sauce only remove sauce I don’t want ranch I want chipotle why can I not do this?? I feel the rewards are a bit lacking compared to other places or at least it feels like it takes forever to build them up and I almost never have offers but that seems to be similar with most fast food apps wish you guys would be a little bit more generous but I’m mostly concerned with the customization options overall though four out of five it’s a good app and any fast food app that offers your points or rewards is worth getting simply because eventually you get something “free” Wish we could do the receipt surveys through the app. Overall I Love Dell Taco and the app is ok

Great tacos horrible app
Love del taco. But the app doesn’t allow for the promotionals that I get notices for. And it times out multiple times before finally updating my payment. Such a hassle. Had to go inside to prove that there was a free promo. Ladies kindly gave it to me. But even they say they don’t use the app. As it’s difficult to navigate. But they sure have a big banner outside advertising it.

Rewards Good, App Buggy Sometimes
I use the app regularly and it's usually great and the rewards are great, but sometimes the app is buggy.
Today I couldn't add two of certain menu items. Sometimes I've had it say that the required item to use a coupon isn't in the cart when it actually is. I was unable to redeem a birthday reward once.

Pointless app
What’s the point of online ordering if you still have to sit in the same line for the same amount of time? This app actually COSTS you time. As I’m typing this, I’ve been sitting in a drive-thru for 30 minutes, with nine cars still to go. If I hadn’t taken the time to order before I left, I’d have been here 5-10 minutes earlier and been in front of 2-3 of these other cars.
The rewards are meager and require you to spend way more to earn them that on comparable apps from similar chains.
