  • Not a solution to OCD

    Affirmations might make you feel better in the short term, but it doesn’t teach you the skills needed to stop doing compulsions and start living your life, despite intrusive thoughts & feelings. I suggest ACT & ERP to overcome OCD.

    Dear Pato, Thank you for your comment. However, GG OCD is not about affirmations. GG OCD is about challenging maladaptive beliefs at the core of OCD symptoms and cognitions. In fact, using GG OCD has been shown to reduce symptoms of OCD and related disorders in several studies across the world.
  • Really works!

    This app had helped calm my health anxiety and relationship OCD more than any other, I really think the constant positive re-framing it encourages helps rewire the brain, my attitude to life is much more positive as a result
  • Didn’t work

    I don’t have OCD but I thought this app would make me more productive. After spending less than 5 minutes on it, I realized that this app hadn’t changed my mindset at all. So far it has made me spend even more time on my phone. Maybe it could work for someone who wants to trick themselves into positive thinking though.

  • love it but it’s unaffordable

    guys I looooved this app so much but I think they just started partnering with betterhelp and it’s so expensive now I had to delete it :(((
  • Helpful

    I have been using this especially for some relationship ocd and it is really helpful to practice letting go of some thoughts and keeping others. I find myself now sorting my thoughts better as they enter my head throughout the day and doing a better job of dismissing bothersome thoughts. I also feel more in control of my thoughts.

  • Better than I expected

    Such a great app.
    I found all the categories helpful so far, initially for me focusing on the anxiety section. Easy to use, just a few minutes of your day. Simple CBT
  • Misleading Billing

    Signed up for what was called the “GG OC 30 Days subscription believing I was signing up for a monthly subscription, but was surprised to get charged for what is apparently the “GG OC 30 Days subscription” annual plan. Double checked the receipts and subscription settings and verified that I was in fact billed annually for what was a “30 Day subscription” in name only…

  • The opposite of helpful

    This app was totally unhelpful to me and in fact worsened my symptoms. Even though they say you only need to do it 3 mins/day, they give you a whole bunch of levels to do at once and encourage you to keep going. It’s not totally clear when you’ve finished your daily tasks, and for those of us who don’t like leaving things unfinished or incomplete, this is not helpful. It’s also just too much screen time to be useful. In addition, they force you to sign up for a subscription when you first open the app. They do give you a 7 day trial, but they don’t bother mentioning this in the app description. I’m canceling the membership they forced me to sign up for and deleting this app.

    Sorry to hear that you didn't find the app helpful. We don't force users to purchase - you can close the offer screen and use the free content which provide you with the basics and allow you to try multiple modules.   • Extremely helpful

    In therapy, they told me to use CBT to change my thinking, but it always felt unobtainable… with this app, I’m actually DOING it. It’s completely changing my thought process to be more positive and calm. 11/10 recommend.
  • Struggling to love this

    I’ve noticed a lot more negative affirmations as opposed to the positive ones. I know they say you have to identify the negative inner voice before you can fix it but sometimes it feels like there are more negative ones. Hopefully this changes. I really do love the positive ones though.
