  • Give us some updates?

    Why is it so hard to push updates every so often?

    Why is it so difficult to allow us to choose any time zone we want instead of 8 you predefined?
  • Doesn’t work

    This app doesn’t work. I can sync the controller with Homekit, but it will not register with the U by Moen app even though I’ve reinstalled the app and ensured that access to home data is enabled. I get various error codes (1,11). I attempted to contact customer support 3 days this week, but wait times were 2-3 hrs, so that’s pretty useless.

  • Invalid Credentials and more bugs

    Lots of bugs, a hotspot internet isn’t good enough, won’t send token email at all, doesn’t recognize correct credentials from my phone but will on iPad both purchased new last night. There are many more bugs but software developers are supposed to pay to troubleshoot before release and this product was clearly dumped on market with the lets let the public debug it for us for free, moen should be sued for the poor quality release and financial ability to do better, lame.

  • App reset and stated to work again!!!

    I was connected and everything worked fine. After a few weeks I could not control the shower from the app. Tried to sign in “Invalid credentials”. I tried to reset my password and the app couldn’t find my e-mail address so it wouldn’t send a token. Tried to recreate a new account, and the app refused because the e-mail already existed! I’ve deleted the app, turned off my phone, reinstalled the app. Nothing is working. UPDATE...After uninstalling and deleting the App and resetting the Moen controller, I was able to log into a newly downloaded App and connect to the controller. It took a few tries and then it was successful.

  • Worst shower system I’ve ever owned

    This is ridiculous, this company obviously don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to electronics/technical systems. Nothing but problems with this system. Have had Koehler and was hands down far superior to the Moen system. Too many problems for me to waste my time going into the details. Do what you like, but I think you’ll be terribly disappointed in this product. I suggest you go elsewhere for a better system as this one is pathetic in this area. As they say, buyer beware.

  • Almost flawless

    I am writing this review because of all the bad reviews I was reading. My controller has been up 7 months now. I control in the morning using Alexa. I have the shower grouped with Hue lights. It has been nearly flawless. I think those have issues need to look at their setup, that the Moen hardware. Only one time can I say I had an issue. After a power outage the system Woosley not respond. I cut the power to it for about 30 minutes and then it booted back up. I can’t give it 5 stars, well because nothing is perfect.

    Moen’s customer service has been exceptional! I appreciate the lengths they’ve gone to fix my issues and get my controller working. Now that the app is up and running it works well. There are some issues like the fact that you can’t add the shower to scenes in HomeKit and you can’t activate your presets through Siri. I assume future updates will fix this. For now I’m pleased that they’ve come so far. It’s been a long wait but worth it.

  • Problem sync with u by moen controller

    At the biginning (a month or so ago) it worked well, it went through the process allowing to add the valve controller set to my account); I even managed to do the particular setting to a couple of users using the app. After less than a month or so, the app got disconnected with moen controller; it no longer showed my moen device. I tried to redo the process but it does not finish it. It goes fast through steps 1 and 2 and sometimes goes to step 3 showing setting completed, only to show process not finalized. In the controller it shows connecting to net and then to server, and then it restarts again showing another set of 4 digit/letters (Pin number) After so many tries now the controller goes back to initial settings asking to set language, etc. I do not know where the problem is, if in the app or in the controller.

    I keep getting disconnect even changed my controller and spent over 300 for a new Wi-Fi mesh system and still can’t connect. Tried 2 different iphone still can’t connect. Spent 45 min online with Moen support who couldn’t help me. Unbelievable! Spent over $1000 for this and nothing works.
  • Please Fix One Small Thing

    This works well for programming the shower, but not for daily use. Here’s why:

    I listen to audio (music/podcasts/radio) from my phone in the morning. Your app makes the chime sound when entering controls which STOPS the audio I’m listening to. I don’t need what I’m listening to interrupted to hear a useless chime.

    Please take this out or add a mute option.

    Update: In response to the developer, thank you for your attention, but it’s not quite there. I tested the app as you described. After muting the chime under both profiles, the chime still sounds, and it still stops my audio playback. The chime sounds when I first launch the app, and select the shower from the main screen. It is not related to individual profiles. I also tested this with the phone ringer set to silent, and it still plays the chime and stops my other audio playback.
