  • Great App, but needs improvement

    Great App to gather data; however, please improve its functionality. Too many crashes as you complete the surveys. And to all those on the front lines during this pandemic, THANK YOU!
  • Works fine for me.

    Never had a problem. Just downloading the update today.
  • Filled with bugs and crashes

    They released an update to fix bugs today it didn’t fix bugs and introduced new bugs and it still crashes. This isn’t even a beta quality app it’s at best alpha and very unstable and lots of settings not working. It’s also at as if the team who makes it does no testing and doesn’t use it themselves.

    How could researchers even trust the data from an app this unstable and bug filled?

  • High battery consumption

    I initially enabled location tracking as I thought it would be useful to the researchers but have turned it off now because it used to much battery when tracking in the background. Most app developers who use location tracking solved this battery issue years ago.

  • Crashes randomly

    Very hard to use the app as it randomly crashes during surveys.
  • Great App

    Hi! I wanted to say thank you for helping everyone figure out more info around COVID-19. This app hasn’t given me any problems and notifies me once a day to record my personal info. I have the latest iPhone and set all apps to auto update so maybe that’s why I haven’t had the issues everyone seems to be experiencing? I have one concern though, I originally granted Eureka access to my iPhone health app but I cannot see where that info is being synced from any of my devices. When I went into settings to ‘Connect a Device’, the screen was just blank. Since I want to help as much as I can, I wanted to know how I can make sure my health app data is being recorded. Thanks again!

  • Buggy

    Trying to do the survey for covid. It won’t allow me to scroll through options to answer one of the questions. Would like to help but the bug is getting in the way.
  • App is buggy, makes you wonder

    I want to help make a contribution to research, being a scientist myself. The app is very buggy. Really, unnecessarily so. And as others have mentioned in their reviews, those kinds of problems do not inspire confidence in the security of the data and the fidelity of the eventual results. It seems like a fly by night operation. Who are the researchers? Which body gave the ethical clearance? I’ll carry on using it to contribute, but I have my doubts.

  • App is unusable

    Participated in a prior study and the app was repeatedly failing and the developers were always trying to figure out what was wrong. UCSF is a great medical research organization. It is a shame they are stuck with this app hampering good research.

    I got an invitation to join another study. I want to contribute but the login is an endless loop of asking for my phone number and then telling me it is already registered. I know ... the developers are looking into it. Please get a different app UCSF.
