JSON Scripting Error prevents account creation
Please have a developer look at the data capture form for the account creation page. Whenever you try to enter a correctly formatted email address in the email field, it returns the following error message:
“Error
JSON could not be serialized because of error: The data couldn’t be be read because it isn’t in the correct format.”
I have tested this and it generates the correct user prompt (“please enter a valid email address”) UNTIL you enter a full email address. Regardless of the actual address it always displays this error. Clearly a JSON scripting error. It is preventing people from creating new accounts. To make matters worse, your website doesn’t allow account creation and instead points users to the app. Not very user friendly. Please fix. Thank you.Show lessTraveliter

First time & probably last time user of the App. While buying a friend a birthday gift card for $50, the App shut down after I plugged in my friend’s phone number. There’s no record of the transaction on the app but Menchie’s charged my card. How quickly & easily it took my money, but how slow they are to find the transaction to either fulfill & send my friend his gift card or reverse the charge & refund me. I called & left message. I emailed & now Menchie’s is consulting their vendor to see what happened. That vendor INSTANTLY vacuumed our money, but it’s over 10 days & still they’re investigating. And I’m not the only person. If the App took millions of dollars in one shot, it’s spending weeks sitting in their coffers gaining interest before we ever get our transactions rectified. IF they get rectified. Never again. I happen to have a Menchi’s 30 meters from my house at the moment and was excited to start using the app. Denied…. Downloaded it three times and continue to get error message every time I want to open to register…Alexita7788
App leaves much to be desired! FroYo is awesome
This review is on the App. It is extremely glitchy. Wanted to buy 2 - $20 gift cards and put $20 on my account. Because app hung up I had no idea transactions actually went through 😡. $160 later in purchases (only seen on my bank app) I can’t get anyone from Menchie’s to answer the phone or return my call. Just had to download the app. Great download! Won’t accept login. Keep getting JSON error. Also, my local store (40 miles away in Terre Haute, IN is no longer there. Closest store is in Chicago, IL. Don’t believe I will be going to Menchie’s anytime soon.

Using my phone number was easier
Mechies may think they are a bigger part of my life than they really are. This forced app is annoying. Every grocery store I've shopped at still makes using your phone number at the register an option for customer loyalty programs. What makes Menchies think they have more leverage than them?Luki4
Error message in app and website!
I’ve been trying to download the app so that I can register and create an account but when I open the downloaded app, I’m getting an error message. I also tried creating an account through the website and got another error message. I’ve been trying to do this for months and each time I try I’m getting an error message preventing me from establishing an account. I visit the establishment and I would like to get my points. Menchie’s no longer lets you register in the store, you must use the app. Using the app has an error when you attempt to register. Only way to register is a broken process. Whatever.BEinCO

Can’t login or sign up
This app has been broken for a very long time, you can tell by all of the reviews. The developers clearly don’t know what they’re doing because they keep saying it’s “fixed” when it’s clearly not working. Don’t bother downloading, you’re wasting your time.
