$3.95 Fee to Pay Bill with Card?!?!

Orange and Rockland is out of their minds charging fees like this - oh, but they don’t receive any portion of this absurdly high flat rate - as if that somehow absolves them from not using a cheaper platform. Clearly a means to have everyone use autopay linked to their checking account. Definitely won’t do that now and I’m getting off paperless billing also, let them pay to print and mail my bill each month if they want to charge ridiculous fees. Hey, O&R, thanks also for forcing all customers to change their passwords, when it comes to treating customers poorly, you guys are number one. Hope these choices come back to bite you soon

Stupid customer service

Very hard to pay bills from the app, website is crap and their customer service and their electronic voice system is laughable.
Now i dont know how to pay maybe they want me to physically visit them once a month.
Pain in the neck.

Hi there, We’re sorry you’re having issues paying your bill. Once you log in to the app, you’ll see your bill total and a Pay Bill button on the opening screen. To complete your transaction, simply select your payment method, date, and amount. Thanks for all the great work getting electricity restored in a timely manner when outages occur! It can be a very dangerous job and I do appreciate what you do! Too many people complain. Many people do not take the time to send an appreciation note!

Horriable

I paid my bills on time every month and then O&R went back on my bills and stated that they charged me wrong! Now i have a 2000 back owed balance that is total crap. I use about $50 worth of gas a month and your trying to tell me in the winter it was almost $300 a month!!!! Im disgusted with O&R and the service your providing. Ive already discussed with the local paper "The Orange Post" to run my story, and I have been contacted back about it. I asked for a manager and tried working things out and all I was told was that nothing could be done, my meters were absolutly read wrong. And i would never recommend O&R to anyone.
