  • Exactly What I Wanted

    I almost let the negative reviews talk me out of purchasing this security system, and I am SO glad I didn’t. I never write reviews, but Cove deserves some love on this one! The most important thing to me is being able to control the system from my phone so I don’t scare my dog coming home (that alarm is LOUD) and response time from the security team. Cove provides you with the phone number for their security team so that you can add them to your contacts in case you have spam blocker. We had one alarm so far (luckily, a benign one due to miscommunication with our landscaper). The security team called at 2 minutes on the dot after the alarm was triggered, they dispatched the police to thoroughly check the property, and I was getting a response call within 20 minutes. Cove has everything I was looking for: easy DIY installation, easy to use app, reliability, quick response, and peace of mind.

  • DO NOT BUY COVE ALARM

    This is the worst app I have ever TRIED to use in my life. It freezes-tells you your password is wrong when it is correct- won’t let you confirm a new password- customer service is WAY FOREIGN as in Darrel in INDIA does not know English- it send notices you cannot read or get to. DO NOT BUY. THEY ARE LOCAL AND NICE WHEN THEYRE SELLING YOU BUT SEND YOU ON THE SLOW BOAT TO CHINA OR INDIA TO TRY TO TROUBLESHOOT. Darrel said and I quote “I don’t know what to tell you. EVERYONE ELSES APP IS WORKING” For real, Darrel??? Well that just solved everything bud🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  • Better than expected for sure

    These reviews on here are not accurate. The reviews made me nervous that I bought this whole system! I hate that.
    This system is excellent, I bought good internet so I have had no connectivity issues at all. I think a lot of people don’t have high enough mbps for all the WiFi connected things in their house.
    Also, the indoor and outdoor cameras/doorbells are great, and have a clear image, the door sensors work every time. I really appreciate that it’s not alerting me anytime someone walks by the doors. And it’s SUPER loud when the alarm does go off. Lol bad guys would leave just to escape that high decibel! Im excited to get more security supplies for my home. It’s just so cool, living in the future over here! No complaints.

  • Not the best app

    App is pretty bad, keep hoping it will improve. If you call be ready to uninstall the app and reload. Camera drops connection fairly often, lately it keeps sending me motion alerts when nothing is there.
    I am not a household with kids and all kinds of devices connected to Wi-Fi so no reason the app should be slow. My connection is good strong with good speed the app & system seem to have a communication disconnect.
    If you only try 1 or 2 star it will keep telling you the nickname has been used. Basically they have it set for no bad reviews

  • Notification Badge Stuck!! No customer support!

    The panel has no alerts, there are no in-answered doorbell alerts. All sensors are active and responding. Did a full walk test for smoke heads, door and window sensors, tuning fork for glass break, everything reported back to the panel. No matter what I do the app will not drop the stupid Badge notification. Turning off notifications will fix it but also makes having an alarm system that reports to your phone kind of useless..

  • Poor App

    The App is poorly developed. Keeps giving secure connection error. If you forget to arm the system before leaving and try to arm it remotely there is no guarantee you would be successful due to the connection issues. The panel also keeps losing cellular network. The customer care reps have poor understanding of the system.

  • My app works perfectly and I’m very happy with the system!

    I read all these awful reviews and was really wanting to cancel my subscription but then I just gave it a shot and it works perfectly. I have no idea what everyone is crying about.
  • Non-functional System

    I am on my third panel, which means I have reconnected my 19 sensors 3 times over the past 2 years. I know how to do a soft and a hard reset. I can disconnect the battery terminal. As a customer, I shouldn’t be doing any of that. Add in the fact that the app does not work with the panel most of the time, and it’s largely a waste of money. About 4 months out of the year, things work as they should - set routines (arming house at night, disarming in the morning) will work. The panel does not automatically adjust for daylight savings time, so the app and the panel do not sync and trigger the routine. It takes customer support weeks to correct the time on the panel. Now, I do not have a true activity report showing which sensors have been triggered - I used to have that ability. So, if you’re like me and travel a fair amount, have people in and out of your house, and want to be sure no one has broken in or burned it down, Cove is not the system for you. I’m thousands of dollars into it at this point and looking at other options.

  • App is flawed

    This review is for the app, not the security system. The app is very glitchy. It constantly says poor network connection when trying to arm/disarm remotely. Setting a routine to arm/disarm does not work at all. The interface for the routine settings is also not intuitive. It’s in a format that is similar to programming and does not tailor to the average user. These are very basic functions that should work flawlessly, not sure why cove can’t get these things right.

  • Deceit

    Am paying for premium monitoring plan that includes the app. Have not been able to for months view the activity. I check on my 89 year old mother this way so I don’t have to call constantly. Each time I call they say they have “fixed” the issue and “ not to worry “. Well that’s a lie. They are not fulfilling their obligations but still charging for them. If the shoe were on the other foot……….. I would give them a 0 but it’s not offered.
