  • Constantly Crashes

    What a horrendous app! The app constantly crashed when trying to use it; particularly when trying to spend British Airways Aveos points. It took me the best part of an hour to spend mine on a hotel booking as the app crashed each time I got to the final purchase button. Also, you cannot search the UK by area. There are lots of places to stay in Snowdonia/Eryri but you cannot select the area - instead only individual accommodation appears! On top of this, once you’ve logged into the app, it requires you to log in again when you try to spend your points. Hence, when it crashes it’s doubly frustrating. In fact, the app is such a poor experience I won’t be collecting aveos points or using them ever again. It makes the whole customer loyalty scheme pointless (pun intended!)

  • Not working for Avios users in the United States

    I’m a US user who has had Avios for more than ten years. I just tried using this app again today. The app defaults to using options that are of use only to UK users, like merchants in the UK using English currency, not US dollars. Although I had logged into the app, it asked for me to log in again repeatedly when looking for ways to “shop” with Avios. It looks like I cannot use this app to conduct any actual transactions because it doesn’t provide a way for a US user to make the app use the US options (like Groupon US). Sorry, but I have to give this only 1 star.

    Thank you for your review. You can change stores in the settings menu by tapping on ‘Change country’ and then selecting ‘United States’. If you’re still having trouble please do email us directly at rewards.app@avios.com and we can look at resolving this for you.
  • Total mess!

    Nothing is connected: two different apps and two different websites are not communicating with each other. How do they manage to fly at all?!
  • Was Disappointed Now a Happy User

    I am disappointed with the functionality of this app. 1. Often I’m booted out against my will and unable to sign back in, despite being able to sign into my account using a browser. 2. When I am logged in and try to shop online the app won’t allow me to move to partner sites unless I click on continue to allow tracking. Clicking on continue does nothing so I have to revert to the browser. 3. An alternative to clicking on continue is to go to Settings/Privacy/Tracking and scroll down to Executive Club to enable tracking, however there is no Executive Club in the list. 4. Finally, when I look at my list of Linked Cards there are 4. When I try to add a fifth it tells me the card is already linked, but it’s not one of the four on the list. Speaking to Support has not been possible because they are experiencing a high volume of calls. I’m hoping for a version upgrade over the next few days.

    Since writing my first review all matters have been resolved barring the additional card, and this is being addressed. Thank you Support and Developers.

  • Absolutely useless.

    When I try and link to a store to buy - I can’t click continue button on as it’s hidden at bottom of the screen Update: Have been contacted by app support to say they have implemented a fix. I can now see half of the continue button at the bottom of my iPhone but clicking on this half button does nothing. The app developer has asked me to contact them if this has resolved issue but there does not seem to be a way to contact them? Would be useful to have a direct contact method and a way to leave a screenshot to demonstrate the issue

    Update: App developer has been responsive and updated app to resolve issue as well as leaving contact details - Thankyou well done

    Thank you for your updating your review. We are aware that having larger text on in your device can cause the continue button to appear further down the screen making it difficult to click on. We have a fix in progress for this issue and hope to have this out in our next release v5.28.4. While awaiting this fix we have removed as much spacing as possible from the information text which is why the button showing higher on the screen. Sorry you are still having difficulty clicking on this.   • Still not downloading properly.

    On iPhone 11, iOS 17, app does not download to tracker, so therefore you can’t enable it so can’t shop using ba. Pretty useless really, especially when this has been going on for over a year reading feedback. AVIOS GET IT SORTED NOW. Also exactly the same on my iPad. Amex did a check for me and all ok there. Why have an app you can’t use. Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have done what you have advised several times. The problem is the app is not showing in the list to allow tracking, so therefore can’t authorise. On the app itself you can go as far as the merchants site press the shop now & the page comes up to authorise but you can’t scroll down far enough to press the link you can see the cancellation and authorise but you can’t get to them. Same on my iPad as well. Downloaded onto my wife’s iPhone 13 works perfectly.

    Update, eventually contacted & this is a glitch if you have dynamic sizing on high so reduced it on both devices and now good.

    Very grateful for help but why not sort the glitch out.

    We are working on this but currently the shop now tracking view is not supporting larger text fonts in iPhones so the 'continue' button may be cut off. We are sorry this has happened but your detailed response has allowed us to see this issue and line it up for a fix. Thank you for your review.
  • Booking is out of date

    When booking flights, app only shows cities in the UK for departures. Only intended for UK residents, I suppose.

  • MUCH Worse Than Previous Version!

    The previous version of this app was a LOT better. Now you can’t find much about your Exec Club membership at all - Trying to find flights is ONLY targeted at Avois spending - how about adding that as an option to all of your routes? I’d like to know about my progress up the tiers, but now you have to try and find that on the website. I’d like to know if I’m Bronze or Silver, but again, you have to find that on the website. This app isn’t targeted at your Exec Club at all. All you’ve done is add some pretty flowers and remove everything the old version had. Not worth using any more, sadly. As for your phone number to customer services - that’s not worked in months. We now have to rely on someone replying to a Tweet in order to getting cancelled flights sorted - I’m going to become a frequent flyer somewhere else.
