  • Update to app not welcome!

    This is the second app, the first being the MySky app, that has updated their app only to work on iOS version 13. As Sky soon realised not everyone has iOS 13 due to having an older device, nor are they willing to pay to update their device just to get newer iOS version when the existing device works perfectly well.
    It would be greater appreciated if BA could look into finding a solution, like Sky has, so that the app can still be used on an older iOS version.
    You will quickly realise from reviews and any community pages that you are preventing a lot of people from accessing the BA Executive Club app.

    UPDATE: thanks for replying to everybody’s review but mine. What ever you’ve done to work on an earlier version of iOS is not working. Why am I being penalised from using the app. Please get a solution fast and please give me a response so I don’t think I’m being ignored or my opinion doesn’t count. Thank you

  • Like this app however, improvements can be made

    I really like this app, but there are a few things stopping me from giving it a 5* rating:

    A) Notifications: It would be great to have two tabs under this section. One tab showing the latest notifications from BA and another tab showing my personal notifications such as my site tracks, point pending/points awarded notifications. I currently find it incredibly laborious searching one notifications section that currently shows an amalgamation of both, when frequently I would simply like to view either my own notifications or the updates BA would like to show me.

    B) Transaction list: Sometimes BA awards points that at a later date needs to be adjusted (to factor in VAT and delivery, which points are not awarded for). I would find it more accurate for BA to mark this as an ‘adjustment’ however, it is currently listed as ‘spent’ when in fact, I’ve spent nothing. Would be fabulous if this detail could be accurately reflected on our accounts please.

    Hi MDarcy18, sorry to hear you're having issues. We've just released a new version of the app that will hopefully resolve this for you. Please can you check your phone is on at least iOS 13, please then uninstall the app and install the latest version. I hope this fixes it for you!
  • Login

    Whenever i try to login, it takes me back to the login screen, no matter how many times i try
  • Can’t log in

    Downloaded the app about 6 months ago, and even after all the updates I wasn’t able to log in. Once I enter my login and password, I get thrown back to the login page. Tech support wasn’t helpful, they basically told me they had no idea what was going on. I have a regular iPhone running iOS 13.5.
  • Crazy for USA

    So - apparently I can fly to Copenhagen for 8,000 Avios, and to Miami for 32,500. I live in Florida and the BAEC know that. I can drive there in 3 hours.
    Fix it please.
    Not sure why they ask for my location when they clearly don’t use it.

    Emailed the team a month ago about an issue. They never get back to me even after contacting them several times
  • Hit and miss with Avios allocation.

    Generally, the app itself works well - however it’s a real gamble as to whether the avios you should be rewarded actually end up being credited to your account. Most e-store purchases I’ve made have allocated the avios accordingly, however this has not been consistent.

    I made an online purchase that should have yielded ~3,000 avios, yet only ended up receiving ~2,500 for it. Furthermore, I then queried this via their ‘dedicated’ missing avios query portal, only to receive NO response - even after chasing it up myself, several weeks later. I subsequently made a hotel booking that should have also yielded ~3,000 avios, yet this purchase has not been logged on my account AT ALL (even at a lesser amount). This was more recent, but as yet, again no response to this query has been provided.

    It’s concerning enough for the errors to occur in the first place, but for them to be flagged and STILL not addressed is frankly unacceptable.

  • No Points On Your Account

    After purchasing few stuff from the website, the points don’t go on to the account and very hard to get a response once email has been sent to them, Avios and much faster response and genuine cared about the issues you have , I feel like this app really needs to improve before people really do get upset or annoyed, if the switch between Avios and BA has happened why can’t we keep the same concept like Avios did? can we get this right it is really annoying to keep chasing your points up and time consuming as well this should be added within the time scale of the purchase.

  • First impression

    Hello, I joined your executive club recently. I fly regularly with Lufthansa as I believe them to be the last of the decent airlines to provide a good rewards package and good service.
    As I have recently flown with my family on British Airways to Barbados, Venice and Florence, when my last need to fly to Gothenburg came up I thought I should start getting something back so I joined your club.
    Yesterday I flew from Terminal 5 to Gothenburg. I tried to use your app to take advantage of the valet parking service, the link didn’t work. I tried several other links on the app and none of them worked.
    I parked in your car park (£61).
    I got to the airport to find that none of the flight information boards were working and BA staff were writing flight information on a Flipboard.
    Your app doesn’t recognise me despite me allowing it to remember me. It doesn’t show any reward points at all.
    In summary I will wait to see if I get any response to this, which I doubt. Then I’ll decide whether to give up on BA or not. In total my flight cost me over £600 for 2 x 1.5hour flights. I didn’t get anything for that except the absolute minimum.
    You have a long way to go to get close to the service Lufthansa offer.
