Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We do require this authorization in order to be able to deposit paychecks into your account should you choose to use the direct deposit method. If you are wishing to receive a check from your employer instead of direct deposits, please reach out to our team at support@gusto.com and we will be happy to set help you set that up!
