Mayo Clinic has good reputation but the diet is cumbersome. There is no way to track what you have and have not read. Participation depends heavily on using Mayo recipes, but many of the recipes are not family friendly. Unlike other plans, if you cancel before time is up, there is no refund of the unused portion.

Thank you for providing your feedback, we're sorry to hear that you're not enjoying our program.
We would encourage you to reach out to our team direct, who will be more than happy to help you further: https://diethelp.mayoclinic.org/s/contactsupportAfter I’ve given Mayo my money for a year’s subscription, a huge portion of the app doesn’t work. The section that is to supply information before starting the program doesn’t come up on any device, no matter how many times I’ve deleted and reloaded the app, and no matter how many devices I’ve tried it on. Mayo provides no way to contact them, once they receive payment. Not cool.

Our team will be glad to assist and can be contacted via the link below: https://diethelp.mayoclinic.org/s/contactsupportI am highly disappointed with the app the plan and the diet.
There are few details about the plan until you join, mostly marketing hype. I went ahead and joined based on Mayo Clinic’s reputation. That was a mistake.
There is no ability to set food preferences such as no fish. The diet plans are wildly impractical if you work full time. The group coaching sessions are in the middle of my work morning and are trite and useless.
The information on using a Fitbit tracker is wrong. The app is clunky and difficult to use for non meal plan foods.
You can cancel anytime but you get zero money back.
I will not be renewing.
I lost 5 pounds in the first week so the diet is working for me but the app lacks functionality. It seems to be giving me more of the meal the next week and no option to swap it out. There needs to be more menu options from the website. It’s a great idea but needs some modifications.
The app is cumbersome to use. Not realistic for a single person cooking for one. Food data is minimal compared to other diet apps. Terrible experience.
I’m using the tracker. I’ve found it helpful.
The food is delicious but very time consuming. For a blue collar worker, the meal plan is not friendly for a break room that has a refrigerator and microwave for hot breakfasts out of the oven or fry pan. It seems that every recipe is a version of zucchini, tomatoes, either beans with little meat. That being said, I have had successful weight loss of 8 pounds in three weeks. So if you have the time to pretend cook ALL your meals in the evenings this plan may work for you.
The app is terrible, needs a ton of work. Extremely glitchy
The app is very glitchy. The only thing I like is that it does give you a meal plan and grocer list. The problem is the recipes in the website are different from the app. There is also get little flexibility in swapping off the meal plan and the recipes are not very good. Customer service is flow to respond. I tried to cancel 3 days after starting and no response. I emailed again and they said I could switch to a shorter plan but it was double the price monthly. I feel scammed. I do not recommend.
