Since the last update i keep on getting numerous errors
1) As a frequent traveler i rely heavily on the app to buy tickets. When i try to purchase my tickets an error stating my name is too long asking me to call the call center to get the ticket pops up. Defeats the purpose of an app. Call center never gets the correct ticketing and i waste too much time on the phone
2) can never see my bookings (pop up says error occurs). I regularly have numerous bookings so i used to use the app this to see what my next trip was.
This is just another example of CX's horrible IT. Website is horrible, app is horrible. I have tried complaining over the last few months but nothing is being done and no response is give to my suggestions.Show lessAppsNuts!

Hi Sir/Madam, Thanks for letting us know the issues you have encountered on the app. For the issue you encountered on booking a trip, can you please share a screenshot of the page you encountered issue and the error message, and also a screenshot of the App Settings Page that contains the app version and AppID for our further investigation? For the issue of unable to load bookings under your member profile on the App, can you please try to reinstall the app and sign in again? You should then be able to see your booking details and manage your booking. We apologise for any inconvenience caused while we work on fixing this as soon as possible. I find Cathay Pacific to be one of the best airlines I have used.
Their app is easy for making seat selection, meal selection etc.
Other Airlines could improve their apps and learn from CathayNOT ME, MUST BE YOU
Great until it loses the booking …
Doesn’t retain bookings added without logging in (yes CX, not all customers are members and making it hard for them won’t get them to sign up). Functionality might be great but what’s the point if you have to add the booking every time you want to to do something, only to find it’s gone next time you open the app?
Update: trying to check in… only to be taken to a blank page that never loads. When trying to leave warning appears that all data will be lost. So bad that it’s funny.Show lesswhy_what_when

Not as many options as website
It’s much easier to make booking via website. I can see pricing of each date on website, I can choose class for each leg of my itinerary. It’s way more customizable and flexible in the website.nicknameisml
