  • Super Easy Invoicing & reports

    What one can do with Xero…just finished a busy day & now creating and emailing invoices to my customers on my iphone while sitting in my hot tub drinking a well deserved cold beer…thanks for the accessibility, simplicity & availability of your software!!!
  • No support for multi currency transfers

    Really handy app for reconciling transactions on the go, but there are two things I need to use it regularly:

    1. Support multi currency transfers between accounts. There’s no error message for this, I had to figure it out myself! Over half my transactions fall into this category (my sales are in multiple currencies) and my feed is then filled with transactions I can’t reconcile that I have to swipe through until I get bored and put the phone down.

    2. Notifications. I have multiple team members who regularly expense to cards. It would be good to get notifications for those so I can reconcile as I go, rather than at month end having to freak out to reconcile everything.

    Other than that it would be good to have a GMail type ‘snooze’ system so I can review transactions when I’m back at the office.

  • Bank Feeds Never Work!

    I spend all my time trying to get my bank feeds to work. I have two businesses that each use a different bank, it my bank feeds never work with either one. Customer support asks me to do the same things over and over again rather than fixing whatever the actual problem is. Finally, it was suggested to me that I could import my bank info manually. Is that what I am paying for?

    Loving xero - switched over from MYOB.

    Two things i could recommend that would be very helpful:

    1. Being able to enter discounts for each individual product under a specific account holder. We supply a number of products to many housing companies that all have their own pricing based on volumes of purchasing and other factors. It would be great to invoice a certain customer and by selecting a product and it already have the price loaded in settings for them for that particular product. Currently we have to cross reference to a register to then enter their given discount for the product supplied.

    2. It would be great to have more accessibility and settings options from my iPad Pro. For example - creating new items in products and services.

  • Limited features

    The app doesn’t have all of the features that the main website does. This is really quite frustrating.

    There is a fairly basic feature on the website that allows you to review reconciled transactions and then remove and redo them. The app doesn’t have this feature, which makes the process somewhat flawed if you are doing bank reconciliation on the go using the app.

    The golden rule of any app in my humble opinion: if the functionality in the app is limited compared to the website, the app becomes redundant.

  • Support? What support?

    There are no phone supports available but they will have someone to call you constantly to sign up if you were on trial. To get any help you have to go through all these articles before you can log a ticket for anything. I had an urgent issue to be resolved but the ticket was not even picked up by anyone for 4 days!

    Most of the features you need for business were all add-on, but when you make a change of it you lose the access immediately regardless how much advance you paid and no refunds are due even if you still have 25 days left! Where is the fairness in this?

  • Authentication?

    I was trying the software till it got me to that screen where it asked for authentication. I couldn’t go through. It really s+$&#@@#$.
    Why making it so complicated? I’m looking for a way to do what I have to do quickly, no headaches,

  • Uneducated Keywords need to be added to the search criteria

    A bit complicated for a newbie to figure out. If you try searching for training materials with uneducated keywords the system doesn’t allow you to find the videos etc. The search keywords only seem to work if you use accounting terminology. Lots of terminology to understand that doesn’t make sense unless you’re an accountant or book keeper.
    Also have a phone number to call. Some of us are in businesses that can’t be scheduled at an exact times. Unless there is another way.
    So, Xero please add those uneducated keywords to the search criteria for each training video. Otherwise it’s a good system.

  • It does work but needs work

    Lots of crashing, emails not sending, and I have to cancel search before I can click on the add payment button. The quote to invoice process isn’t bad just a lot of unnecessary steps.

    It’d be nice to be able to create and save templates for quotes
