  • Price going up to fast for too little improvements

    In the main I find the functionality in zero useful but compared to Enterprise size financial ERP systems such as Oracle fusion ASAP or even Oracle NetSuite the price rises on zero are going up too fast too soon my monthly subscription has gone from £20 a month to £40 a month in the space of a year this is causing me to rethink my subscription and perhaps to move towards a more affordable tool for small to medium size businesses size busine.

  • Used to be good

    Used to be the best. I got locked out when they started requiring authenticator apps to log in and my employer didn’t allow that. Ended up moving everything over to zipbooks.
  • No keyboard comes up on sign in page

    No keyboard comes up to sign in on iOS.
    So glad I tried this out before paying.

    Thanks for leaving a review. This seems strange that no keyboard would display for you to sign in on. Can you please raise a support ticket (through the desktop), so we can reach out and work through this with you, as we cant replicate that error internally.
  • App fails to sent emails with Invocies

    I love to be able to send invoices on the go! Very disappointing as due to various circumstances I have failed to notice that my customers do not receive our invoices that I send from the app. No problem from the desktop but app - hada!
    Today I even sat on the phone with one of my clients and sent her an invoice, which absolutely did not arrive on her end however the worst is that I did not get any indication from the app that this was a fail.
    I just updated the app. But I have invoices that were sent in January this year that never reached our clients!

    Please sort it out guys!

  • Strange anomalies

    It’s a handy app to have alongside the web version, especially in terms of adding photos of receipts and bills. However, I’m flummoxed by the fact that the app on my iPad differs from the app on my iPhone, as well as other people’s apps on their devices. We are all signed into the same company yet my default “today’s date” when inputting a bill on my iPad is June 2020. Given that it is now November 2021 it’s extremely laborious having to scroll all the way to the correct date.

    Similarly, on one person’s app they are able to paid a bill at the same point as adding a bill as there is a drop down menu below the “categorise to an amount” drop down. I can’t on either my phone or pad, the drop down option simply isn’t there so I then have to go through the whole rigmarole of finding the bill and marking it as paid….

    Would at least be helpful if there could be a help facility for the app within the main Xero website but if you search for support there hardly anything shows up regarding the app. So disappointed as it could be such a great business tool but it’s actually creating more work, rather than simplifying/saving time.

  • It’s great, but…

    …it signs you out of iOS 15 constantly (known issue, but it’s been ages). When your account gets disconnected from Open Banking there’s zero indication in the app, and certainly no-way to reconnect without going to the website, which I rarely do. There is no way, that I can see, to redo or update a match which is highly frustrating. Finally you can’t create rules in the app. Website only. All in all, this is not for people who use operate on mobiles or on the road, or just prefer the ease a mobile device brings. The site is really more for my accountant, not for me.

  • Pretty Good But A Few Tweaks Would Make It Great

    I’ve been a Xero user pretty much since day one and it’s always been a good platform to work off (some historic issues with Safari (seem to have been solved by Apple) notwithstanding). The iOS app is a really handy way to do the basics in Xero on the go. I think overall, the platform offers good value for money.

    Things like being able to reorder invoices by date rather than just showing them by customer would make it a little quicker to find the right document (same goes with bills).

    Having said that, with the full suite of apps, pretty easy to get things done. Might be nice to have a Payroll app as well down the track.

  • Failed to remember credential’s - resets each day

    App used to be great.
    Recently the app was updated and then fails to remember my login by the next morning, making me login with email address and then verify each morning, it’s like it resets each night which is frustrating.
    Little point in setting up a pin or Face ID, when you have to completely login again the next day. Please sort this bug

  • Too many login prompts

    Despite enabling face id, I still have to type in the password every other day. Very inconvenient.
  • Log in issue since last update

    I had an issue logging into the app since the last update. Every time I logged into the app it forced me to enter my email address and password, and verify my login via the Xero Verify app. I was prompted to choose if I wanted to unlock the app using Face ID or a PIN but it never remembered my preference. Face ID didn’t work either. Frustrating. I deleted the app and reinstalled and it appears to have resolved the issue.

    Overall I prefer to use the desktop site as the iOS app isn’t user friendly or fully featured.
