  • Best idea

    Been using this for a year, really easy to use once you know all the short cuts… only thing I find confusing is the payroll side… but I’ll get that sorted when I decide to go off drawings to wages..

  • Great app for when I’m on the go

    Use this all the time on the go, very handy and easy to use. Limited with some things you cannot do-would like to be able to send statements!

  • Just very bad

    Was made to use this by my accountant just disappointment after disappointment told I could do anything but you can’t do anything offline can only give quotes not estimates have seven people who need to use the invoice part but only show myself as doing anything. payroll has never been right and had government letter after letter for NIC Arrears and only my accountant can use that. My accountancy bill was less when I hand to write all invoices and entered bills in a book. It crashed my bank account when linking up as they saw it as a security issue. Very disappointed. I’m told to look at the online videos but I work a insane amount of hours I don’t need to look at videos that are not very good and not direct or to the point
    New accountant and software for me! Bye bye Xero ps my spelling is bad but hate the name. ZERO % from me

    Thanks for leaving a review. This might be something to do with your user permission in Xero. Maybe your accountant hasnt given you full access to all the features of Xero.   • Worst customer service

    It seriously takes them at least 1 or 2 days. I’m trying to connect my union bank feed and it won’t work. I ask support and I get a template response. Each response takes 1 day to respond. So I’m like 5 days into it and I’m still with a rep giving me a template response like “make sure you turn on your power to your computer” type of advice. So horrible!!! Stay away.

  • Great app, but

    Great app, love the ability to send invoices straight from the phone as soon as the job is finished. Also adding receipts and bills for fuel etc and upload image is a great time saver and means I don’t have to worry about lost pieces of paper.

    What would be really useful is to make contact available from my phone. E.g on iOS make Xero available as another account. I want to be able to search for a contact from the phone and call them without having to go through the Xero app. Or use the address data for navigation

We love to hear how much our customers love using the app. You can actually search for a contact via iOS Spotlight Search, and even call the contact directly without opening the Xero Accounting App. The address data is only available from inside the app though - we'll pass this suggestion onto our product team.
  • Terrible service.

    AMEX sync/feed has been broken for months. Support knows of the issue which affects all customers and have not been able to fix it. They suggested I upload a CSV to manually input the transactions. Please think twice about using XERO before you have your entire company using it. We will now be moving to Quickbooks.

  • Why did I wait so long to switch?

    Simply brilliant software, following a logical business person's workflow, rather than the accountants workflow of Sage, this saves me so much time & allows digital document storage quickly and easy, for free all built in on day 1.
    Bank feeds work well, vat returns are a breeze, of course there are tweaks I would like, but Xero is so far ahead of Sage at this point, for me there’s no competition.
    Spend a day setting up the system, your contacts (customers and suppliers) and opening balances & you will be on your way.
    One tip, invest the time in setting up the defaults for each contact initially, things like vat number, payment x days after invoice, usual nominal etc & your future data entry time is slashed as Xero pre fills these fields for each new bill or invoice.

  • Great partner for small business

    Xero feels good from the time I started using it years ago for my real estate services firm. It is fun to use, easy and setup is amazing. I am fan. I even use it for other ventures I have created, looking forward to expanding on its use.

  • Tech support

    Don’t expect to actually speak to anyone, or the same person either. I am unable to increase our subscription to accomodate additional employees and Xero support keep sending me around in circles because every time I raise an issue I get the same advice which is I have to wait until the end of my billing period to alter my subscription unless I would like to terminate it earlier. I have requested to terminate it earlier and a different person again tells me I have to wait until the end of the billing period! This is ridiculous! We have employees that need to be paid but I am unable to process this because Xero won’t allow it as our subscription needs upgrading..... which Xero won’t let me! I can’t process our monthly BAS, IAS or super because our employee pays aren’t up to date, and the rate I’m going I’ll miss the lodgement date as our billing period is after it!

  • New to buisness

    Have found the app handy for my new small business. Would be great if I could create purchase orders on the road from the app.
    Would also be good if I could take photos of receipts on the fly and store them on the app until it’s time to reconcile, then I can choose to attach the recite with the transaction
