One of the Best around!
This is definitely one of the best Smoothie Kings around. I have been coming here for a few years now. Not only is the staff friendly and always on their A-Game, they work diligently together to keep the customer happy! Oh and they are one of the few stores to get my complicated Vegan Mango Kale smoothie right, this is why I will literally travel from any part of town to come here. And let me not forget the manager Savannah who is a complete sweetheart.

Great way to skip the line
The app is pretty easy to navigate and begin working with quickly. Make sure to check to see if your rewards are toggled on (red bar not gray) before ordering. Some items don’t seem to be available to add using the app (I.e. sweet strawberries) but otherwise a great way to order and pay. All that’s left is walking in to pick up order. Just remember it still takes some time to actually make the smoothie, so don’t order in the parking lot and expect it to be ready in like 2 mins. I order when I leave the gym and by the time I get to my store (usually 5 mins) it is ready.

Worst app ever
This is by far the worst app I have ever used. I have used it countless times over the past two years. It is extremely slow to pull up the main menu. It rarely remembers my past orders. If it does remember my past orders there’s only one or two past orders that appear. If I click to order again multiple times it tells me that the menu item has changed and I need to re-add from the menu. To which I order the exact same thing - no menu item changes. If I am able to add a previous order then I am unable to make any changes - say remove a smoothie or add fruit or whatever. Today I only had one previous order showing. I added it to cart and in the cart I tried to remove one of the two smoothies that were from my previously order. “Error. The merchant has updated their menu Please re-add your items before continuing”.

This app is so bad
Months of frustration with this app led me to write this review so hopefully they can make some changes. I get Smoothie King weekly because I love it, and the idea of having a rewards system and ordering ahead is awesome, especially since the location closest to me always seems to be running very slowly. But every time I use the app I get various errors that oftentimes don’t make sense. The app only remembers my past orders sometimes, which in theory is not hard because I get the same thing every time. But when it does remember and I select re-order, it tells me the store has a different menu or the pick up time is unavailable. Additionally, unless I have blazing fast internet wherever I’m ordering from, the load time from screen to screen is abhorrent. Please make this app better.

Order Ahead Option Only Good When People Show Up For Work
I wonder if openers could have the ability to switch on the app when they are ready to start taking orders. I’ve found out the hard way (a few times) that you can order and pay ahead and then show up to a closed store. Smoothie King won’t refund in these situations so you go on to purchase another breakfast somewhere else, double dipping your emergency breakfast fund and putting you behind schedule. Then you have to go back another time and explain the situation and find proof that you ordered them, totally putting the burden on the customer because someone didn’t show up for their shift a week ago. I gave 3 stars bc it is super convenient when it works AND when the employees unlock the door so you can come in and pick up your online order rather than waiting in the car line as if you didn’t order ahead.

Nice app but some additional features would be nice
It’s a nice easy app to use but I wish it had voice control or ability to use Siri or microphone to put in order in app or Siri capability to say hey siri order whichever product with whatever enhancers etc at whatever location. I have to pull over after leaving home to put the order in because i leave home before my closest location opens so the app won’t let you enter the order before the location opens.

Convenient and easy
Love using the app! It’s super easy to use and always quick and convenient. I order my smoothie on the way and all I have to do is walk in and pick it up! Always ready, exactly as ordered, and delicious with no waiting in line! Also, I automatically get my reward points through the app and get free money towards future smoothies! Win win!

Not Open During Business Hours
The location in Loganville near Grayson Hwy and Orzora was not open until 20 minutes after the scheduled business hours. The manager, Sheila, sat in her car until she noticed me taking down the phone number on the door. She proceeded to go into the store saying she’d issue my refund. I couldn’t wait. There were at least 10 other cars that had also left. When I called, she became defensive and was raising her voice. I advised I would follow up with the operations manager. This is my first time coming to this location and it will definitely be my last. The other location in Loganville off of 78 and Hwy 81 South is stellar.

Has Potential to Be a Must-Have App
I love the design of this app, but there are a few areas that fall short for me.
1. The reward system itself doesn’t drive consumer loyalty. Smoothie King needs stronger incentives.
2. Emailed offers (which begin to arrive in your inbox after you’ve registered on the app) do not include instructions on how to redeem the promotion. I supposedly have a free 20 oz smoothie calling my name… how do I claim it? And what would prevent me from showing the cashier the same email over and over if there are no disclaimers or fine print?
3. Most frustrating of all is not being able to schedule an advance order during closed hours. I have to place my order during my commute if I want my order to be ready to pick up on my way to work in the morning, which is highly inconvenient.
I love Smoothie King. I see value in an app rewarding customers for their loyalty and the ability to pick up your order without the wait. And the smoothies are delicious and nutritious enough to keep me coming back. For now I only plan to use the app to have an in-depth look at the menu as needed. If a few tweaks were made to strengthen the overall functionality, this would be a must-have app.

The app has multiple broken features.
I’ve been using this app for more than two years now and quite honestly it’s a pretty terrible Interface. Let’s start with the fact that It can’t remember any mobile order that I’ve ever made. It did it one time but now it’s just stopped. That feature hasn’t worked for a while. Also, what’s up with the two QR codes? One is to pay, earn reward and points. The other is just to earn rewards and points. That’s pretty dumb. Lastly, the app gives you the option to connect Apple Pay but it doesn’t work. Whenever you do a mobile order you can’t actually use Apple Pay to fulfill it. For the love of Pete please fix this app. I love your products but in all honesty your app is really, really terrible.
