  • Can’t get back my fee

    My flights home fromBali were cancelled abruptly in school holidays but we still had our outgoing flight. Due to A terrible experience with Jetstar and losing our flights and accomodation money in the previous school holidays I immediately booked a return one day later than original for our 3 people . This cost an extra $50 each aprox.
    The following day Jetstar rebooked us on the same day as original but later in the day. I can not get to speak with a human who could authorise the repayment of the extra fee despite trying any of the means available through AVA . my case has now been listed as closed because we boarded the rebooked flight.

  • Mobile app froze and changed details

    I have never been so down in a mobile app
    I was booking holiday for my husband I put his name in (he’s already saved in app
    As I have booked numerous flights previously but not a package) picked his hotel and when I went to submit it froze and took me back to payment which doesn’t show previous info so I entered payment info again and it worked but then sent me confirmation that it was me booked on the flight and a different hotel for same price. I have tried from 5 mins of booking to get this changed but no one can help me except to say re book
    For my husband then claim
    A wrong booking which I did but now they say they can’t help even though I did what they said and it was THEIR APPS FAULT. Has this happened to anyone else.

  • Terrible Billing process via App

    I was charged 4 times on my credit card through this App without the ticket ever being issued . I had to finally use Orbitz/Expedia to book the flight without issue . This is the my second time encountering billing issues with App. It’s very frustrating and needs to be fixed
  • Lost functions

    I am a frequent user of the AirAsia app. When I logged in to book a flight this time, I was advised there was an update available I thought I should download, so I did it.

    Now the app does not allow me to choose my seat. I always choose an emergency row seat because I am tall. Now, it appears, I’m just thrown into the economy seat lottery. I tried to use the apps chat box function, AVA, but it is completely worthless. When I noted I wanted to learn how to pick a seat, it provided me a silly video of the different seat options available on airplanes, not limited to AirAsia airplanes. As far as I know, Air Asia does not have a lay flat business class seat. nor does it have a “quiet zone“, as suggested by the video. However I tried to ask for how to pick a seat, AVA gave me completely worthless and irrelevant information. Air Asia could not have designed a more stupid chat box if it had tried..

    This is not an update, Air Asia, it is a retrograde. You’ve made your app less useful.

  • Trinket seller

    No update on flight delays on this app. I got to the airport and it was delayed 7 hours. They only told me after they processed the boarding, pass !!! So like they took my bags and sent them down the conveyor belt and then said,” oh, by the way, did you know your flight was delayed?“ I asked, “ how long?”
    She said 7 hours !!!!
    I said I want a refund. She said they don’t do refunds. I looked up on rules of Philippine airline, delays and cancellations and the rule is that they are supposed to refund it for longer than three hours. So I had to go to service desk were there finally relented after I showed him the rules book. Liars, deceptive, rule breakers, inconvenient.

  • Awful app, terrible company

    I strongly recommend that you do not make a booking with AirAsia. It is impossible to speak to a real person and if you have any problems at all, they offer no possible way of contacting them. Only make a booking through this paling company if you are willing to risk losing all of your money if and when problems arise. This company should not be closed down. They are so bad!

  • App doesn’t work

    Tried several times to register but won’t let me without verifying my mobile number. Unfortunately their verification service doesn’t work. Disappointed.
  • Piece of crap

    I tried to upgrade seats and purchase meals. No luck, tried three different credit cards through three different card companies and all declined. Called credit card companies and no transaction attempts showing up in their systems. All three credit card companies said it was the airlines app. I attempted through a website on browser and still declined. No customer service number to call. Will not be using Airasia again.

  • Simple and seamless

    Love the design of the app, the pull down to social is a great addition and unique, slight glitches when you have to change dates for the snap hotel and flights but it’s gotta do it’s thinking. Looks exciting to see what’s to come next Friday. Airasia. Just need I get more airlines coming through so we have a good range of different airlines. It will come with time. :)

  • AVOID AIRASIA

    completely worthless app and airline. i’m unable to make any changes to my flight and just keep hitting walls that the automated response robot cannot help me with. DO NOT buy an airasia flight if there is any chance you will have to change or cancel your flight because while it says it is possible they make it impossible.
