  • Air Asia is spot on except on time

    Always fly Air Asia to Asia and have done so for many years. Had a flight cancelled due to Covid. I didn’t ask for a refund but just a credit. Unfortunately this credit w ent back to an account that was undated by AirAsia with an obsolete email address. Communication with Air Asia on the internet ,hours of it, they kept insisting everything was fixed. Still no credit as they keep quoting the old number an email. I have no way of accessing either. What do you do just to speak to someone.? Concerned about booking with them again as I just can’t get this problem fixed .

  • Customer service nonexistent

    They have suspended any possibility to interact with a real person either by phone email text message or in any other form. You will interact with Ava the robot should not be called artificial intelligence but possibly artificial complete stupidity. There are numerous instances where you actually need to discuss an issue obviously. But because of a bad any actual customer support you will such as in my case is $350 which may be intentional on their part

  • Doesn’t even do the basics for an Airline app. Terrible.

    Booking and flying with AirAsia used to be such an easy experience. But now it’s totally lost focus. I booked a return through the app, had to complete payment on the web (while logged into AirAsia) and none of the flights are visible in the app, the email notice listed the booking references in a random order and it was impossible to check in with the app. This app doesn’t even perform the basic functions of an Airline app. I would expect the basics, search for flights, book them, pay for them, and check in all in the app, but no, not AirAsia.

    When I finally managed to check in (on the web) I decided to pay for an isle seat, despite being logged into my AirAsia account it sent my email confirmation to somebody else’s email address entirely! Unbelievable. Really, sack your developers and get it sorted out by professionals.

  • Poor performance on specific searches.

    I am unable to complete a specific Hotel/Villa search. Upon entering potential dates, price tier and location. The app seems to crash and screen turn white. Upon waiting approximately 10 seconds, the app closes and I must start search over!
  • Missing some parts

    The app sometimes crashes during orders. It also doesn’t give the option to adjust email preferences so it’s not clear how to unsubscribe from advertisement-related emails.

    I also think the app should have airport maps so travelers have that as a guide.
  • Constantly resets

    Constantly resets itself. You don’t have time to think. Then the timer above is annoying, as if the app is rushing you. Then it kicks you out. Took about 2 hours just too book 3 adults!!!! Time I will never get back. Now awaiting confirmation and app freezes. So do we have flights paid for? Who knows!

  • Search choice errors

    The app seem to always get the default cheapest airfare times even though you choose a time that you want. This happens when you choose the SNAP option and it happens during the hotel search. When you set and chose the time you want for your flight then you try to choose your hotel. Hitting the back button or trying to find a different hotel. The flight times you chose defaults to the cheapest one recommended by the app. So when you finally got the hotel that you want, you realize that when you see your itinerary that the times you chose isn’t the ones had previously but the cheapest ones the app had picked for you. After it had been paid its too late to make the changes which I tried to change but the app won’t let me. Now I’m stuck with the times and will pay the hotel for a late check out fee. App needs work.

  • Worthless app, unhelpful AVA

    My booking does not show up on the app. It is shown on the website. Airasia rescheduled our flights. We couldn’t get hold of real live person to talk to move our flight. The AVA virtual assistant is unhelpful. Put me to wait for a chat with real person but there are over 200 people in front of me. Issues not resolved. Bad app, and bad business practice.

  • Does not sync with flights

    The app is very erratic in linking with planned flights. I am logged into my account on the website and see all my flights, but when logged into the app, I have to look them up, and then I cannot use the electronic boarding pass
  • TERRIBLE

    Do not book flights with this airline!!!! Been trying to get hold of customer service for a month and still no response
