  • Dreadful

    HSBC, your AUS app is simply dreadful. Balances take days to update, leading to charges when I cut things a little fine. Money disappears for days being passed to and through accounts. I can no longer trust the balances reported on my my accounts. Let that sink in: I cannot trust my bank because of your dreadful app. AMD then every so often, I am required, for no particular reason, to reset the whole thing because it no longer works. HSBC, there are several good reasons why I retain your services but the pain and grief of using your lousy app is making the pain and grief of moving my modest business elsewhere worth it. Even sending this comment requires jumping through needless hoops. I am only giving you a 1 star rating because I can’t rate you a zero.

  • Worst Banking App Ever

    Worst banking app ever and that’s really saying something considering how clunky most banking apps are today. Seriously why is it so slow? Where’s the option to make a payment? No payment option for a credit card account, unbelievable. Where’s my credit score? I can only see my credit score on my monthly statement. What is this 2009?? Oh and it took them 3 months to give me credit for a fraudulent transaction. Worst banking experience ever. Worst customer support ever. So I shouldn’t expect any better from their banking app.

    You guys have THE ABSOLUTE WORST online banking platforms out there.

    It can’t log on because it can’t find the server. Your app has been down for the last week. I can’t do anything. Came down to the branch their systems were down. I had to make an important transfer, guess what!! I can’t because your online banking app does not work... the worst experience ever. It’s always like this and I’m changing my cheqing account to CIBC.

    从来没见过这种app,连自己的员工都搞不定,在银行搞了1个多小时,不断锁定-打客服解锁-再被锁定,看来香港离没落边缘化真不远了,
  • App is so bad I stopped banking with them

    It is not user friendly, constantly shuts down and can’t seem to get anything to work.
    Banking shouldn’t be this hard because so many of the other banks have perfected their apps.
    Even online it was impossible to navigate around. Simply registering took me 45 mins to get on then when I tried to log on a few days later it said I had to start again and redo a few things.
    Wanted to transfer money to the account and couldn’t find the BSB and the apparent account number has too many numbers in it.
    This app is useless!! Just don’t even bother banking with HSBC as a whole

  • Worst banking app ever!

    I wish I had took the reviews seriously. I try to do all my banking on line and through apps to make life easier but with this bank, I’ll have to call in to make payments to avoid the massive headaches caused by their horrible system. Not only is their app horrible and so user unfriendly, but their website is horrible as well. It’s not even worth the hassle to deal with them at all. Once I finish paying off the card, I’m closing the account and NEVER dealing with them again. I will give their customer service credit for being extremely helpful when trying to solve problems but I’d rather not deal with HSBC at all even if they have a good customer service crew.

  • Out of date and obsolete.

    HSBC really need to get their act together if they wish to retain their customers, especially Millenials.
    I rely a lot on internet banking, having a number of accts in different countries of work.
    The HSBC App is so antiquated that it is entirely ineffective.!!! Whoever is in charge of managing this side of HSBC’s digital banking needs to be fired, as this is an atrocious App and likely costing the bank many customers. Since getting much better App service from Other banks, I have closed My Account with HSBC as I can not be bothered putting up with this antiquated service and do not wish to be treated like this as a customer. I have a group of colleagues who have done the same.

  • Doesn't support legacy iOS versions anymore

    Only crashed on older iOS device. No need to phase out their support yet.
  • Railroaded into a worthless app, total junk

    You HAVE to install this garbage app, even if you only want access from say, your home computer. Installing and setting up is a joke, and the mobile app doesn’t even let you make a payment from your checking account. Oh, sure, it’s super easy to use the hsbc card to pay other bills, if you go through more of the stupid hoops and crashes, I presume. They make it more than easy to rack up a balance on the card/account, but are more than happy to make it ridiculously enigmatic to simply make a payment... I wonder why? Such a shady tactic that I can’t wait to transfer my balance to s better card/bank. What a joke, and you find out none of this until you actually open an account with them. HSBC=slime ball company, I highly recommend you go elsewhere, to a more reputable and customer oriented credit account.
