  • What’s the Point?

    The app doesn’t work when trying to get any accurate information; repeatedly, I’m given an Explanation of Benefits that doesn’t have the correct coverage for my plan; and I’m left to my dental office swearing “they got it right,” because I can’t actually check. More often than not, the dentist didn’t get it right, but I literally have to argue with them after EVERY APPOINTMENT, because MetLife can’t actually do their one job, and I have to do it for them. This app only hurts, not helps.

    One star because I can’t give zero.

  • Trash app and company

    This company is absolutely trash along with its app. App never reflects your account accurately compared to their website (which is another joke) and the company jerks you around with your claims. No one ever calls you back when they say they will. Customer service somehow “doesn’t have numbers to claim managers and can only put in a call back request” that the managers don’t do anyway. You pay for their service only for them to deny you as “not covered” this company is a thief. Stay away from them.

  • No longer works

    This app previously works perfectly fine with looking at your coverages, limits, estimates and finding dentist offices but now none of this works! Even the link to show the coverage Card doesn’t work anymore and it’s been not working for months.

    You guys need to stop updating a working app and now it’s completely not working. Even your website doesn’t show coverages and estimates. What is going on with this?? Did you lay off incorrect DBA and now everything is broken????

  • Can’t get past the registration screen

    When i go to register my online account I’m not able to complete the process. The first page with my basic info wasn’t a problem but after fill out the contact info page and hit continue, the info I just entered is cleared and a popup box about how they use my information is instead displayed without me progressing to the next page.

    I’ve tried to fill out the contact info and tap continue multiple times but it always ends with the same result. This, unfortunately, makes the app functionally useless since I’m unable to actually finish registering my account so I can’t actually login.

  • Good luck getting in contact

    Tried installing the app. I would input my email and phone, get a pop up telling me how they use my data (no checkboxes to confirm), click either the X or “continue” button (I did both - multiple times) - only for the app to clear my email and phone. Since both are required to move on - yeah. Never even got through account creation.

    And since they don’t list their number for my particular type of insurance on their website… guess they don’t want to be in contact.

    So Godspeed to anyone that wants to get in touch with this group.

  • User Interface is terrible - not helpful to clients

    A good user interface will deter Support calls.

    A good user interface will help a client find the data that they need in a way that is logical.

    A good user interface leads a client logically through web interface menus and screens as a reasonable person would expect from an app.

    This app fails on all levels.

    I think the data is there, you can find the certificates, claims, correspondence…But only if you’re willing to spend a significant amount of time.
    The face ID does not work in the app, even though it shows the Face ID icon in the mobile app . The support team does not know how to troubleshoot or let you know if it should be available or not.

    There is loads of room for improvement here.
    Good (MetLife) product. Pitiful mobile App.

  • Registration has a bug

    App has a bug and will not allow me to complete the log in process. When you enter your primary email and phone number it has a pop up notification informing the user how the information will be used. When you click OK, it wipes your email and phone information and your stuck since you can’t complete these fields and continue. Should be easy to fix but for me this makes the app useless at this time.

  • App stopped showing dental coverage

    I have had 4 calls about this issue with the app and have an open case that has not been resolved.

    A few weeks ago (3-4), my app all of a sudden started saying I don’t have dental coverage (I do) and when I called or used the website, all my information was showing up correctly. So I called and a very nice person said they would open a ticket and let me know when they start looking into it.

    When the IT team first started trying to fix it, they changed my password WITHOUT notifying me. There is sensitive information on my account and that was a breach of trust. I called to complain, and another nice woman said that the IT team hadn’t looked into it yet since my call a week prior, and they might not know how to fix it since there is no IT team for the app, just the website (which works for me). She then went to ask them and turns out they WERE looking into it but did not write anything down on the ticket (so there is no trace or accountability as to who changed my password).

    She then said call back in a week if no one contacts me, which no one did, so I called and got someone who did not seem willing to help. This was two weeks ago, and my account is still not fixed.

  • Cannot get past add email and phone number

    If you can’t even complete registration in the first two screens because it keeps kicking back and never put information in, it’s not a very helpful app. Every time when I import my email, and then my phone number, what a deal with my data. Then I am prompted to press continue. When I do that it clears all of the data I just put in on that screen and starts the same page all over again - blank. Fail.

  • Simple but too simple

    It’s a simple app but wish it had a page that listed my coverage from cleanings to whatever it only gives estimated costs to major procedures and I want to know more it’s too simple
    Their website also doesn’t work on a mobile device I just get blue screens for it. So yea can’t find anything on the go with them.
