This is genuinely the worst app I’ve ever encountered
I like giffgaff, until it comes to the app and the website, also known as logging in to change details and buy credit/data etc. I have used giffgaff on and off since I was 13, now 21, and every single time over the years that I have tried to log in, there has been an issue. I can’t ever just log in and simple as that, there’s always a problem on giffgaff’s end, consistently, preventing me from logging in. Sometimes, it’s urgent, and I need to top up on credit urgently in order to call someone etc, but giffgaff won’t let me log in. It ruins everything about the service - because what’s the point in having a good service if you can’t access your account to buy the good service??Show lessfuming_customer

Accept there is a genuine problem (ie get a grip). 2. Please fix it. 3. It was the best Mobile Phone Provider app - an App TO BE PROUD OF ! - PLEASE Fix it and let it be again ! I am off now. UPDATE 16 June 2024: App still not fixed.
Received response from "giffgaff Ann" apologising delay in getting back to me and acknowledging the App is bust. (Thank you GiffGaff Ann). It asks me to contact GiffGaff directly through the App. I had already attempted this in April / May 2024. It was just the "GiffGaff Community" who told me nothing was wrong. 2 or 3 tried to be genuinely helpful but one (I felt) was aggressive and rude and I had to ask him to leave the conversation because I genuinely felt he was aggressive and completely unhelpful. Someone from GiffGaff then got in touch and told me that they did not think he was being aggressive 🤷🏽♂️. I am not going back in there - total waste of time and I got better things to do than be treated like that by total strangers. I am trying out other networks - I am honestly hoping things improve with GiffGaff.Show lessRenegade Master

Can’t log in, ever
The app takes me to the website to login, which then consistently fails with message “Something went wrong on our side”. So I have never been able to even use the app.

Only 5GB EU roaming data, no way to increase during trip
Only 5GB EU roaming data so if you go over in the EU you're out of luck and can't increase the roaming data cap without paying loads for any additional data. i have 2 weeks left out of the Uk until i return and now i have to pay through the nose to use GiffGaff as my data provider while out of the house.
