  • Excellent App Thank you

I’ve been in the UK for over a year and I can’t thank how useful it is to download this app within a US region A+++

  • GIFFGAFF IS WORSE THAN DEALING WITH COVID

GIFFGAFF has to be the most clumsy, nil transparency telco service on the planet. Credit just disappears. No logic to the service. Went to buy a second hand phone and they would only send it to my home in Australia. I am in UK and my (lost) phone is also somewhere in 50 mt of water in the UK.
I give myself an uppercut the last two times I have given GIFFGAFF a second chance. Stop the juvenile being hip/funny. Just Lear to provide a simple easy to use non ripoff service and stay out of my like. You are about as important to me as a salt shaker on a table or a beer coaster under my pint. Do you job and get out of my life. Hate you guys. Can’t wait to cut up your SIM.

Oh dear, that's strange. Please contact us via social media, or through your account, and we'll be able to help you out. You can do this here, https://www.giffgaff.com/support/ask - giffgaff Emer.
  • Best app for the best network...ever!

Saves all the old data manager type apps running & killing battery life, all the info you need is here, easy access to agents & to top up etc, every update it gets better, unlike say BT or Sky! Last one gives us free wifi on the underground & at 8,000 O2 hot spots...love it!

Xmas 21 no heads up that goody bag ran out so all my credit has been zapped, surely there’s a way to stop this from happening to others? That credit is for emergencies! We need a fair warning of having no credit/issues processing payments etc. Not to keep quiet and gently lift what funds are in our credit to your coffers. Otherwise great network…

  • Lack of connection.

Just tried to update my satnav Spent 56 minutes downloading for you to tell me I’ve run out of minutes. Got 2 bars on my signal strength and for the last 5 years I have rarely used Anything. Been sat in my car for an hour and all because you have a crap two bar signal strength outside my door, seriously two bar signal strength on supposedly 4g . Check your records, loyal customer and get this crap. Maybe time to move on. Thanks for a wasted morning. NOT Tony6 Not impressed with a nickname for Christ sake. Sorry Jade I’m 72 and don’t know how to do that, all I do know is that you have taken £40 out of my bank account . Something that I think you could have informed me about. I have always paid more than I need to just to be on the safe side and feel I have been badly treated. Regards Anthony

  • Roaming

Often limited signal strength when roaming. For example, currently experiencing a weak signal in central York.
  • Scammers!

    Scammers!
No way to log into the crappy app to activate the crappy sim!
    Incompetent morons!
    I hope you all DIE!
  • Great

GiffGaff is perfect for me as an international student. SIM replacement is free which is great when I lose the SIM. Very fair prices for phone plans as well.
  • No testing and poor customer support

Giffgaff rolled out 5G sims a few months ago and didn’t test the application’s profile for WiFi hotspots for the new sims.

Customer support denied they had a problem and shrugged the issue off as a user problem. After self diagnosis and switching to an older sim to isolate the issue, customer service just said that they were happy to hear that I solved my issue and promptly closed my second ticket. No telling if they will resolve the root problem.

Is there anyone at giffgaff supporting this app?

  • Useless.

Refused to recognise that I already have an activated Sim. Total waste of my time.

Hi there. We're so sorry to hear about what's happened. We would recommend that you ensure you are logged into the correct account, as it can show that you don't have an active SIM if you log into an inactive account. Please logging into your account using your mobile number instead of you're using your membername, or vice versa. If you need a reminder of your membername, you can text the word membername to 43430, and we'll text this back to you. - giffgaff Emer.
