  • Worst App

    This has to be the worst app ever! I prefer not to call customer service if I have the option to service myself via an app or online. Of course, the app should be the easiest option to use, but it’s not because the app never works! I tried searching for a provider by specialty type several times, and it kept bringing me back to the same page. I rarely need to use my insurance, but when I do, the app makes it impossible to find my information for myself! I don’t understand the purpose of having something so ineffective and pointless. Do better! Also, I would give no stars if I could!

  • Never able to log into app

    What’s point in having an insurance app if your never able to log into it, I put my credentials correctly and all it says is please wait with a loading circle.. waited 5min one time just to see how long it would take. Needless to say I closed the app.. only way I can check my insurance is via the website.. this app needs major fix. Even when you try an report a problem or app support there’s no way to ask for tech support for app.. fix the app please.

  • App and website are not easy to use

    The reason most people use apps on their phones is for the ease. That is not true in the case the app is not easy to use, no one in my family is able to use it. The card in my wallet has additional numbers in the member number than my physical card. As one of the largest health insurers you have to do better. Please start all over and make the app usable. I’ll even volunteer to be part of a focus group

  • Can NEVER get to work

    Will not log in. Keeps spinning the blue wheel forever. Same issue as other reviewers that auto log in doesn’t work. Face-ID not working. Pin not working. Useless app.
    Using the website version no problems what so ever. Log on and good to go, so why is there this app that doesn’t function.
    For a huge corporation you would think they would have an app that works. Dunkin Donuts app works better than this.

  • Terrible PERFORMANCE - FIX IT, PLEASE

    Developers,

    I’m sorry, but there’s seriously something wrong with you app. I can no longer log in through the app at all, and it continues to tell me I need to enter the correct credentials. We’ll, they are correct and when I log in through the browser, I use the same log in info and it allows me entrance in. I’ve been patient but I can fit the life of me see why you folks won’t admit the app is jacked up and just fix it. It’s a developer issue, far from a user error. Thank you

  • Pretty useless, also a time waste

    App keeps freezing and crashing.

    When the app does work right, all the doctor listings seem to be wrong. Just called my current office to switch to one of the two physicians IBX had listed at that address. One of them is a researcher and not a physician who sees patients, and the other is at a different address clear across town.

  • Pretty awful

    Buggy and barely serviceable. Having updated to the very latest version I then got a persistent notification saying the app needed to be updated to the latest version…hmmm.
    Just feels wholly clunky. Considering how much money we pour into the insurance industry you’d think the app would be world class. Not so!

  • Terrible interface

    Using saved passwords to sign in does not work. You must manually type or paste the password in. I enabled Face ID and it never asks me for it when opening the app. The app does not support any iPhones with a notch. Content is displayed under the view of the notch. The X button to exit most screens is hanging off the top right side of the screen (barely noticeable and can hardly press it). I was able to add my card to Apple wallet last year, but this years card doesn’t show the option to add. App is very dated looking, picture content and some icons are fuzzy, and the entire interface is NOT intuitive at all. Please simplify it, optimize it to work with all iPhone resolutions, and get the button layout fixed. All the money I pay for this insurance and they can’t afford a knowledgeable app developer. SMH.

  • A laughable app

    I suppose interns have to start somewhere, but maybe on a less important app? The design abs bugs are terrible. None of the components are native and it shows. Elements fall off the page, lose focus, or otherwise are unresponsive. The custom drop down form menu breaks half the time, and a custom implementation of back and forward is clearly unfinished.

    They say in the startup world that if you’re not embarrassed by your app on launch you waited too long, but blue cross is no startup, and y’all should be embarrassed by this app.

  • They deserve to be sued

    Basically based on a broken system. I have PPO with vision and dental. My app only shows vision. I am unable to login on their website to get my Rx member ID because their website does work properly either. Needed my prescription urgently and now their customer care timings are over am I will have to wait until morning to figure this out. The healthcare system in the US is BAD and non-functional for this and many other reasons!!!!!!!!!!!!
