  • Confusing, unhelpful & not user friendly

I don’t often do reviews, but this app has left such a negative impression.
I downloaded the app after I created my account. I CANNOT seem to find a way to log into the app. My password will not take. I went into my account online and created a new password and it still doesn’t work on the app. I deleted the app and re-installed it. My password still doesn’t work. No option on the app to reset password; and, the ‘Need help’ tab only brings you to a page telling to do what I’ve already tried. I can’t even get to the authentication page on the app. And, yes, I quadruple checked my email & password. I waited a day and up to a week to see if it will work.
No other options provided for assistance. And, I’m unable to find a way to contact customer support.
I have another family member who has the same problem with this app. No matter how many times they have tried to log in, their password is not recognized.
This app needs some major updates / customer support to make it more user friendly.

  • Already subpar, then It stopped working altogether

Just received an after hours call and ended up needing to send a prescription in for this patient. Tried to use the app, no matter what function I tried to use after opening it, it would automatically close the application. I ended up having to use the Tebra website on Safari on my iPhone, which was quite difficult due to it not being a mobile friendly website. I checked for updates, the last one was 5 months ago, I tried everything else on my end, still can’t use the app. Not very reassuring that when I’m on call I don’t have a reliable app to access my EHR. The app falls short just as Tebra/Kareo has, just a horrible EHR system in all aspects.

  • Mobile Support

This could be a five star application. The ability to access patient information, message and carry out functions like refill for prescriptions outside the office is valuable to the provider. The application is user friendly. The downside is that there are times when the app doesn't work. It will not open which makes the whole premise for the app void. There is a delay in updating information in the app to that which is updated in the charts and schedule. The information does not appear to be synchronous with the chart.

  • Horrible customer service

I tried contacting them multiple times they were rude and unhelpful. I sent a request through their online portal and was told that was not functioning. When I told them the problem with the portal I was told that I should have notified them it wasn’t working. This is just not how a good business should function

  • Find a different EHR!

This app has so many bugs, it is absolutely terrible. It has the capability to be great but unfortunately you can’t speak with a live human in customer service. Your only option is to “create a case” and then they email you back and forth with very templated answers and no actual solutions. We have been unable to review lab results, prescribe medications, or view any of our patients response forms for 7+ months now and have logged countless “cases” but have yet to get any real answers or solutions. It’s a shame because their billing desktop software is phenomenal which was the ENTIRE reason we switched our EHR. We need to switch EHRs again, unfortunately we’re stuck for awhile….. STAY AWAY FROM TEBRA, they will make the care you are able to provide to your patients A DANGEROUS experience.

  • Poorly developed app

This app was told to us as something that could be used in my practice but is not developed well. It knocks you out and when a doctor needs information or to use an app , the most horrible thing is an app that does deliver. They should have never been on the market without insuring purchasers that it works. Also support is awful because they just don’t know their technology.

  • Find another EMR

The only reason that I continue to use this EMR is because switching would be a nightmare for me and for my patients. Because this is a review of the app, I will not speak about the entire platform but will say that the customer support is nearly non-existent, especially when it comes to billing support, as they only communicate via email about certain issues and when the issue remains unresolved, they simply close the case.

Back to the app…it continuously logs you out. Every other day I have to re-enter my credentials and go through the process of creating a passcode and Face ID in order to access the app, sometimes more than once in one day. No one has time for that. In the app, you can neither differentiate between an in-person or telemedicine visit nor schedule a telemedicine visit. I’ve come in for an in-person visit, only to find out that it was scheduled to be telemedicine. Sending prescriptions through the app has also been very problematic. This doctor’s order is to choose another EMR.

  • Shocking disappointment

I mistakenly assumed that at this point in the game, basic functionality would be a given. Kareo/Tebra has not only proved me horribly wrong but emerges as a tech company without soul. By that I mean that I have not interfaced with a single representative that is concerned for patient care or client experience. I am told, “that’s not my job” over and over. I am extricating myself as soon as possible.

  • Tebra electronic medical record software - the worst!

Sign up if you want a company that you’ll never be able to speak to anyone about improving this horribly inefficient software. The IT and administration executives are completely unreachable and unresponsive. the software has a patient portal, but refuses to align it with the patient chart. Scribing is out of the dark ages, and Billing is worse! tech-support is not existent and abusive. Stay miles away.

  • Buggy use the web app

Messages for demographics from biller no subject. Can’t tell who this is about.
    Random crashes.
Really needs alot of work. Most studies have shown that ehr burnout contributes more to physician burnout than anything else.
I just wish that there was an ehr that puts the user interface above pretty icons and branding.
