  • Great app

    I love I can chart right from my phone 📱 in a business IV Therapy med spa. The speed of app on my phone is always slow.
  • There’s a bug. Passcode setting required every other day!

    Why do I have to login, set a passcode, and then reset the passcode almost every 2 logins (every other day the past few months)?

    This severe flaw needs troubleshooting by the devs ASAP.

    I’ve seen several negative reviews so I’m careful not to do too much on the app. However, I’ve successfully written notes and scheduled patients with no issues. It’s also my go-to for quick communication with staff after hours. I’ve also uploaded pics and other docs right into patients’ charts thru the app. It’s working well and saves a lot of time.

  • Ugh

    It was working perfectly fine. I know it’s relatively new so in the beginning there were a lot of bugs to work out. But this last update last week, has made it impossible to use the app. You can’t add appointments, can’t see any information, can’t cancel, can’t make any changes, can’t change which staff info is viewed, within the app all the information for the clientele is missing. Whatever it is you thought you fixed, please just put it back to where it was! We use this for our part-time staff so they can see their schedule before they come back to work and more often than not, it’s more trouble than it’s worth.— I had to uninstall and reinstall it to get it to cooperate.

  • Lots of bugs

    The app looks great and potentially has all the features needed how ever loading times are too long something needs to be done urgently about this .

    Also in patient search section you can’t search it crashes . If you enter the last name and then first name it’s just blank
    If you type in last name then all the patients woth that last name pop up and you have to scroll through endlessly . THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED IMMEDIATELY . This one bug renders te app useless as it takes more time to use the app to get to specific patient file . It should work like web version search . Where a few letters of the last name space and few letters of first pulls up patient you are looking for.

    Adding a new pharmacy is impossible you can renew meds but you can not at any point change the pharmacy . Again search feature there impossible to use .

    The app keeps randomly crashing .
    Did I mention load times are unacceptable .

    You are unable to enter billing codes and sign notes without some errors always .

    PLEASE FIX THIS IF YOU DONT Want to loose customers

  • Just Like the Website (only one kink)!!

    Very useful, very secure, is just like the website. The only thing I don’t like is that the schedule does not update when you first log-in. You have to click to around in the app to a different screen then come back to the calendar to show the most up-to-date schedule. I have almost missed an appt (or come into the office for no reason) because I was going based on the calendar that first shows up and it did not show someone who was added/canceled for that day.

  • Frustrated consumer

    I have written multiple times requesting changes to make work flow not so daunting and every time the response is the same, Kareo does not have that function... I understand this and that’s why I’m requesting changes. Example: height should remain and carry over for ALL vital signs, if not entered then the only option is “patient refused”. C’mon! This system was not built by a medical professional. Please take suggestions seriously, there are plenty of EHR options out there. Kareo is one of the least expensive and I do get my job done albeit it takes much longer than the more expensive EHR’s. I would just like to see Kareo respond to customers requests and see we are trying to help them make the system work for us, not us work for the system. Every note needs to start with patients name and history example: “Jane is a 75 yo female with a history of ...” and make a drop down box specifically connected to Janes history - instead of the SALT note which copies everything.

  • Use this app single day all the time

    I use this Kareo App every single day of the week. From refilling prescriptions, checking on the financial status of my practice, to scheduling, charting, uploading documents, viewing patients medical record, reviewing last office note, charting vital signs to chart/graph improvements or worsening blood pressure and weights. Communication with patients and staff via the messaging. I’ve got all three modules at no cost as long as I hired them to do my billing which they do a great job. They are continuing to improve the app on a regular basis, are working on bugs to fix them. I use the iPad as well as iPhone versions. All my staff uses the apps and prefer it to the desktop or web app version. I upload my diagnostic images from my X-ray machine right into their charts. I use the iPhone voice recognition to dictate my notes. Can’t say enough good about this app. Have used it since Nov 2017 and man has it gotten better with the improvements. 5 stars isn’t enough.

  • So many bugs!

    I have no idea who to contact about issues but it just freezes after I login. They say there is an update to fix that but it didn’t fix it. Also, back when I was able to login, I could not generate a super bill, which was very annoying.

    Update: uninstalling and reinstalling frequently helps some of the problems. I had a few good weeks being able to process superbills and now it’s back to error messages. When this thing works it is very handy. It could be a highlight of using Kareo but It’s frustrating to not know if the feature I liked yesterday will work today. Clearly they need to do a much better job on qualify control.

  • Update: still a terrible company

    At one time this company offered free use of their software and promised me it would always be free. They explained that they make their money through the billing upgrades or the marketing upgrade that they offered for a reasonable price. They offered me a free trial of their marketing program which was nice but because I had just started out I canceled before the trial ended. A few months later they sent an email saying they were going to start charging for the practice management ehr module that was previously free. I hadn’t been using the software and at the time I didn’t read the email. Later they charged me $199 on the card I gave for the marketing trial. I never authorized any purchase and was outraged. I talked to them in the phone and they fixed things and said it would continue to be free. I still was not using the software but a few months later they charged me again. I had talked to them on the phone and emailed some (unnecessary) angry things telling them they needed to refund my money that they were not authorized to charge. They did not refund it even though they never should have had the card number in the first place.
