If you browse and compare prices you will notice that Traveloka prices are very high, even I dare to say that they have the most expensive prices, whether for hotel or flight. With lack of promotion and discount, I doubt I will be using them as often as I used to. If you’re their paylater user then you’re getting the worse deal, not only that you’re paying premium prices you’re also charged additional fees here and there for using their paylater service, not worth it.Show lessCrappygame22

Solo traveller in Thailand. Booked and paid my Koh Samui accommodation via Traveloka who were the cheapest option at the time of booking.
Arrived at Hotel to be informed they had been fully booked for weeks and Traveloka had been advised of this on several occasions (I’m not the first).
The Hotel were helpful, called directly and asked Traveloka to offer me alternative accommodation (I’m not the most confident solo traveller). After some time they apologised, said we’re not offering anything except a refund in 3-5 days. I then spent the next several hours (and more expense) trying to find suitable accommodation. Not a great start.

I book hotel though this app for many hotels was all good till.
I booked hostel at ko Pha Ngan in Thailand for 2 or 3 night and cost me $1800.
When I get there the hostel was closed 6 months ago.
But how can they still advertise on the app??
I complained though the travaloka app. All responses I got was they will get back to me.

My partner and I were floating through another day in paradise when we decided to attempt to book our train to sidereal. Little did we know that the Traveloka App was about to plummet us into a crippling spiral of arguments and snapping turtles. After what seemed like 20+ failed attempts to purchase tickets and what felt like an eternity, we found ourselves packing our bags and parting ways. 10 years of a healthy marriage met its end in a head-on crash with Traveloka - and it was fatal. I now am seeking therapy, not for the divorce, but for the emotional damages that the Traveloka apps deadends and endless loops has caused me. I booked airport transfer from my home to the airport. Driver and travel operator was uncontactable at the supposed pick up date and time. Driver answered my call 15 mins later and said he was not aware of my booking and turned off the phone on me. I contacted Traveloka CS for refund immediately just to be replied with copy pasted messages multiple times saying that they are verifying the issue and it will take 30-60 minutes. There are no channel to call them directly so I can only do that via the chat msg within the app. Eventhough it’s clear that the driver did not arrive and pick me up at the agreed time for the ride to the airport, it still took them so long to verify and confirm the refund. In the end, I booked a grab car which arrived within 3 minutes. Traveloka CS called me almost 1 hour after my requested pick up time to tell me that the refund can be processed. Would definitely be late for my flight I waited for their process. Better order grab or taxi than relying on this app.Show lessanna_dn
