Useless

No matter how stressed I am, I am freaking out about something, can’t sleep, I am jumping and it says my stress level is 1%. Junk!

FAQ

What does StressScan do?

StressScan analyzes changes in your heart rate by having you place your finger over your smartphone's camera for two minutes. It scientifically measures your mental and physical stress levels on a scale of 1 to 100 based on the balance of your autonomic nervous system.

How does StressScan measure stress?

The app uses heart rate variability analysis, a medically recognized technology. By analyzing the waveform of your heartbeat at the fingertip, it assesses the balance of your autonomic nervous system, which can be disordered by fatigue and stress.

Is StressScan accurate and trustworthy?

The technology behind StressScan is based on heart rate variability analysis, widely recognized in heart rate and autonomic nervous system research. This technology is used by medical institutions, the US military for PTSD treatment, and NASA for astronaut health management.

What are the use cases for StressScan?

You can use StressScan for periodic checking of your daily stress level, assessing the effects of meals and drinks on your stress, and monitoring your relaxation while traveling or in a favorite spot.

What are the device and environment requirements for StressScan?

StressScan requires a smartphone equipped with a camera and flash. An internet connection is also necessary for the app to perform complex stress analysis using external support for measurement functions.
