App could be better
The app does the job but why can’t we sync our rewards to it? I had Roots rewards with an established email/credit card before the app. Download the app, thinking it would be an easy way to keep an update on my points/rewards, but developers have yet to get that far. I was told I didn’t have an account and had to sign up for another one. That’s fine, but it would make more sense to have my accounts in sync by using my email/cc on file prior to the app. I’m sure I’m not the only one waiting for the app to start expanding into the reward system vs just mobile orders. Not intuitive
This app is not intuitive at all. Plus, why do you need a stand alone app? With the stand alone app, I’m not able to use my auto fill info from my phone like I would be able to do if it was just a web app through my browser.

Love Roots! App could use a couple refinements
The food is great and super customizable so that speaks for itself, but occasionally there will be a glitch in the system that prevents ordering entirely (for example, I couldn’t do a mobile order at all this past weekend because of the “error with the servers” messages). Also, sometimes when I go to pick up a couple minutes after my set order time, the order number will be mysteriously gone from the app so I need to check my email for the receipt to get the right order number. Needs a Giftcard Payment Option
I received a giftcard for my birthday to Roots. I was excited to get the app the build up points, as well as have more accessibility to ordering. When I went to pay, there’s only the option to pay with a credit card. Adding this option would be a great improvement to the app.camzg0701
App works effortlessly except for one minor bug
One of my favorite restaurants ever and so excited to order online for pickup. The app is super user friendly with an intuitive interface which is super simple to use. Only feature that was slightly annoying was there is no way to remove a bowl if you add it to your order unless you go back and restart. I love that I can order roots via the app and have it delivered to my work for lunch! It’s so convenient. I wish there was a way to use a gift card when ordering through the app though. Also it would help if you could go back without completely have to start your order over if you decide you want to add another bowl. Order the food, it’s amazing.
The app could use some serious work. Horrible user interface, horrible user experience and very confusing throughout the entire process. Having ordered multiple times using the app, I still get confused and mess orders up.quillenmt
App improvements
When I order a roots bowl, I make adjustments to the ingredients due to dietary restrictions. It would be helpful if I could save my preferences! That way I don’t have to adjust the roots bowl ingredients each time I order it. Add a favorites option please!yourface111
Great food; horrible app
I want to make it clear that the food and staff are great here. But this is an app review not a food review.
This app is horrible. The ordering process is cumbersome and is arranged in a confusing order.
For example, you choose your pickup time first. If by the time you have finished customizing your order, the pickup time is less than 10 minutes away, you have to start all over again.
The font is strange and small. The buttons are impossible to hit. Order numbers are unclear to find. I would imagine that they’re losing revenue over this since so many people must just give up and order from somewhere else.

Great app
App is so much easier to use to customize selections compared to other food ordering apps. Our local shop was not on time filling the order though due to balancing in person ordering with prescheduled online orders.SMSP-DE
