I’m so sad to see that several people had bad experiences at a Amelia resort. We have been Amelia club members for many years and have never experienced the issues described in some of the other reviews. We have heard that there are differences in the service levels at some of the resorts. We have always stayed at their upper level resorts and have had fabulous service! We still correspond with some of the butlers we have had over the years and have returned to specific resorts for that reason. I encourage you to reach out to their main head quarters and tell them about your experience! We had one small issue several years ago and I called the corporate manager and they gave us a week free at a resort of our choosing.Show lessSucks!
Didn’t work for meTerrible User Experience
This app is terrible. You’re meant to use it to make you hotel restaurant and activity reservations. However, it hasn’t worked since we arrived 3 days ago. No matter what I do or click I get random error messages. When I report it to the hotel they just tell me that IT know but don’t own the app so they can’t do anything, which is very annoying!!Show lessCan’t access features of app
To access features, the app requires the resort, your arrival/departure dates and name. Sounds simple, right? Except I accurately entered these fields and the app gives an error message that it can’t find your stay please try again later. Plus Meliá had my name all wrong on booking, so I tried that name, too. Nothing worked. Reviewing this app is like reviewing a room you can’t even enter. Doesn’t appear that Melia is serious about developing a functioning app.Show lessHotel Services won’t load
App was great until the latest release (on march 2, 2019). The Hotel Services portion of the app will not load at all. Tried on many devices.Doesn’t work
I have been trying to do the pre-check in on the app. It doesn’t work. I have called the Melia contact number 5 times and have been hung up on 3 times before I can explain what the problem is. No one seems to understand that it doesn’t work!!!Our 50th Anniversary
50 years we so deserved the best. And we received the best. Could not have asked for more. The most beautiful accommodating resort we have stayed. We were so fortunate to have two of the best guys to guide us and become our friends. Alfredo and Alex. ❤️ they could not do enough for us and made our 50th Anniversary very special. Keeps asking for confirmation of my information and returns to guest list. A constant loop.Hick up
Keeps telling me that my information is similar to someone else on the database. Asks for passport information. Then says invalid. Oh dear
