    Got Viasat when the pandemic hit because I was teaching online while my 3 children were also trying to do school work. Worked fine for the first year— paid $179 a month to “get the best package”. Now? My package is considered mid grade and I run out of high speed within a week AND NO ONE IS CURRENTLY IN SCHOOL! My kids are gone most of the time and I rarely get online other than shopping. There’s no way we can go through all of the high speed when we never even try to stream movies. In order to upgrade to the new “best package” I’d have to spend $350 a month. Viasat is a rip off and their customer service is even worse!

  • Worst App/Internet ever!

    I have no clue how this app is rated 4.2. Most of the reviews I read were saying things I’m about to say. First the app absolutely is horrible. I can rarely login, I can’t see which devices are using the most internet it always says ‘it’s working on making a list for me’ even if I can see the devices I can’t take the access away from it if I wanted to. Sometimes if I am lucky enough to login it crashes.

    Next the service. Absolute trash. I would not still have it but it’s the ONLY option I have living where I do. I got this service in 2018 and I’m locked in at 169 a month for 100G a month. That 100 might last us (a family of 4) two weeks? They now offer an option to buy additional data which is nice but by the time it’s all said and done I spend about $230 dollars a month. They say you still have access to internet after high speed runs out but that’s a lie it completely stops and nothing works. And we have next to no cell service so Viasat is our only internet!

    If you have any other option go with that because Viasat is joke!!!!

  • App is bad since upgrade

    Ever since y’all up dated and upgraded the app I have not been able to long into my account. This is very inconvenient. I can’t find out how much data I have and any other things. Please just bring the old app back or fix this new one cause I am tired of not being able to log into my account
  • Can’t login through phone app - update

    Thank you for your response and latest version, it did fix my issue. I appreciate the follow up.
  • Quick recovery!

    After the April 11 update, it gave me an “Oops!” Today I deleted the app and reinstalled it. So far it works great now! Thank you!
  • It just gets worse and worse…

    I year ago when I signed up for service this app was useful. I could easily see everyone in my network and know who was using data and who wasn’t. Since then the app has been updated into complete worthlessness. It now tells me virtually nothing and then expects me to pay them even more money for the information they used to give me in the app. Now with this new version, I can’t even login or even re-register my account because it tells me my account doesn’t exist. Then it tells me that I have 4 more tries before I am LOCKED OUT. I say… LOCKED OUT OF WHAT?

  • Not again

    Another update that locks me out of my account. Uninstalled app, rebooted router, reinstalled app. Called support and it seems I’m the only one with this problem. It’s ashamed I have no other internet options…….yet.
  • This app, like the service itself, is total garbage.

    This whole company is borderline scam. They charge enormous fees and can’t explain data usage. App is riddled with errors on devices being used. The company itself only sets up shop in moe rural areas with no competition so they have practical monopoly. Avoid if you can but sadly may be stuck with them if you want any internet. Horrendous customer service too btw. Be prepared to wait for hours for help.

  • Just the app

    I won’t comment on the internet itself, but the new app is the worst update. It is showing as 5 devices connected, but it won’t list what 5 they are. I only have 2 connected but it’s not showing anything. It used to say what the devices were. The new update made things worse.
