  • Don’t waste your money

    ViaSat is the worse waste of money ever and the service is way over priced and horrible. When we first had the system installed we would get speeds of 50mbs a second for the first few days and once the free cancellation period was over we are lucky to see speeds of 5mbs let alone ever getting close to what the avg speed we pay for is. Don’t waste your money with ViaSat they will be out of business once star net is up and running. DSL from the phone company would be a better option if you can get it or even speed the money on a cell booster for your house and just run off it.

  • App as bad as Viasat service

    I am paying $193/month for nothing. Paid for a new month yesterday. Unable to access internet/WiFi. Supposed to work from home-nope can’t do it. Clear sky-no rain or storms. The app only gives me a home page which shows a 0 balance and shows that 2.2 GB have been used! Yesterday it said .9 GB used. How can 2.2GB be used overnight? Unlimited plan is not and viasat says I have their max plan so I can’t upgrade. App gives me absolutely NO information and the wheel goes round and round. I have been scammed.

    It’s a great app for what it is, however my biggest complaint is that they never show you what your next bill is, it’s always $0 due.
  • Terrible Company and App

    App doesn’t help much and worthless when you have internet problem. Company charges you the same day that they invoice you, so no way to know what you are being charged until you’ve already paid! The account will show you which plan, but not plan price. You will never get anywhere near the speeds that they claim. I have top tier with “up to” 30GB speed... I’m lucky if I get 13GB and is usually around 4GB.

  • Wish I could switch providers

    The app is as terrible as the internet service. Unfortunately it’s all that’s offered where I live. I don’t have internet from around 5pm to 5 am and they’re claiming it’s because I’m over my data cap but even when the cycle renews it doesn’t work. I’ve had several repairmen out to try to fix it and still garbage. The app when I log in just says you’ve successfully logged out?!

  • Problems

    I have to go through so many different links, apps, and sites/pages, to do what I need to do it’s frustrating. Setting up a guest link—it doesn’t work, even after spending 2 hours with tech support “chat”! Trying to block unauthorized users is not a simple task either—not even sure I can do that as there are limited options under the help tab and blocking isn’t one. My child needs internet for school and with 3 other college students forced home even the highest level plan does not meet the family needs. I constantly hear that someone has been kicked out of their required class chat due to bandwidth limits. It’s a decent option if there is only 1 person using it for the month, and no gaming or livestreams.
