  • False notifications No online support

    I can’t have notifications turned on as I will constantly get false notifications. I’ve tried setting up the box with threshold and different motions settings with no changes. I end up getting no notification when someone walks by or a leaf blowing by 50’ from the camera.
    If you want support, you have to call. If you email Lorex on their website, they don’t respond to you. I’m the type of person that would prefer online support that I can communicate through email when I have time, not set aside an hour for a phone call that may suddenly drop and then you have to start over or have to speak with someone you can’t understand.

  • Very disappointed

    I recently switched from Ring to Lorex doorbell. I’m very happy with hardware but this application need serious update. Most annoying issue is lack of option to use same account on multiple devices. If you have phone and iPad you will be log out from one device if you try to log in on another. I found comment from developer that shared users are allowed but I DO NOT want to create multiple accounts. Second there is no iPad version of this app which is quite big issue for me personally. If this changes I’ll be happy to give much higher rating.

    My answer to developer: please read my review, I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS. I need multiple devices on one account. Very simple, so please don’t be ignorants. Thank you.

  • Great app

    I've had a number of DVRs for my cameras. All have similar capabilities, so it is all about the mobile app. So far, Lorex Home app has been excellent. I took the time to configure everything necessary; zones, sensitivity, notifications, etcetera. All can be done in the app. I could say much more, but this mobile app has all of the features and functionality Zi need for effective monitoring. I contacted support once, about a configuration issue, they quickly replied with the answer.
    I would like to control playback speed on playbacks, but but not a big deal.

  • Uh oh! Something went wrong tap to retry

    This app used to have minimal problems, if anything just a little slow but nothing that drove me crazy. Until less than a month ago all of a sudden live feed won’t load. Everything else connected to wifi works perfectly fine, live footage is shown on the tv they’re hooked up to so I know they’re working, but yet on my phone Uh Oh! This seems to be an annoying problem that basically renders them useless. I can’t see the live feed unless I’m standing in my closet staring at the monitor. The only progress I’ve gotten is sometimes it’ll pop up for a second then freeze then maybe play for a few seconds and then Uh Oh once again. But this is only while also connected to the wifi in my home, so even being on the same network doesn’t change anything and if I use my data nothing loads 100% every single time I’ve tried. If it’s not wifi issues, not data issues, live feed works when wired to the tv so is it the app or??

  • Impossible to add new device with app

    Since the last update, it is impossible to create an account or add new device.
    The app just shut down when clicking next or selecting country.

  • Last Update 4.9.5 keeps crashing!

    ***UPDATE****
    the App clips get worse, they aren’t capturing the right motion clips, if any at all. An entire vehicle in the driveway pulls in, parks and drives away and not one notification or recorded clip. They only way I knew was evidence of oil drips and rewinding the NVR recording when I got home to see the van pull into my driveway. This is NOT OKAY!

    I love my lorex cams however the app and it’s notifications have progressively been getting worse. This last app update keep crashing, especially if I want to multi view more than one camera. The notifications for a recording cut off at the most important part of the recording for the wired cams, and the wireless doorbell notification recording only captures the first second of motion and video clip is done. If someone is ringing the doorbell, I can’t even get a screen grab from the notification recording and now the app crashes before I can playback anything stored on the NVR!

  • No notifications

    I bought this fusion collection lorex system from Costco. I think is the newest version with smart motion detection plus, a 8 camera system
    Well I set up the system with the motion squares, which I think it would trigger a motion notification as soon as it senses a movement within the squared map.. well I get nothing even though notifications are set on. I tried selecting person detection which it gives me a crazy tons of notifications of non sense even when movement is detected outside my squared map.
    The cameras and image looks great but it’s a worthless system if I don’t get notifications when I need them, before an event happened, I don’t want to see a video of how I got my house broken into and never got a notification before it happens

  • Please fix

    I’m literally begging you to fix this app. I don’t wanna have to return all this stuff. The mobile app is very broken for me. It completely stopped working, yet I can see my cameras are working fine when I’m checking them on the computer. The mobile app refuses to show me any footage whatsoever. Past or present. It just loads on the black screen for a few seconds and then gives me an error. This is obviously not how the app is supposed to work, so I ask that you please contact your coder people and have them look into this issue. The App use to work fine. But now (even after your latest update) it basically kicked the bucket and is waiting for you revive it. Please help. Thanks.

  • No more ongoing fees

    I love my new Lorex system. I got 7 cameras and a doorbell camera that all work together! It provides total access monitoring and sees all around the house. I love that I can control what notifications I get.. so… I can get notifications only if someone actually pushes the doorbell, but not if it just detects movement or a person. It characterizes vehicles, and people from just movement, so it is easy to find what you are looking for in the history.

    The mobile app works great from anywhere my phone has a signal! I can’t talk and listen to the doorbell fine, but the neat thing is that I can listen and talk through any of my cameras too! Which is awesome!

    I’ve had the system installed for almost a year and absolutely love it!

  • Good product, app needs improvement

    Lorex cameras and NVRs are good quality products, although the incompatibility between many of the products is an ongoing gripe. The Lorex Home app performs well overall but is notoriously clunky and crashes regularly. My main gripe is how when selecting to view a specific camera, and then swiping to the next camera feed, the cameras become out of order. Eg. if I select to view camera 7 and then swipe to the next camera the app will take the user back to camera 1, then 2, then 3; instead of 8, then 9, etc.

    I’m not sure why it’s been designed that way, but folks like me who have their cameras grouped together in an orderly fashion, this is a real annoyance and I’d love to see it change.
