Just received my order of a book for my grandson (5yrs) as a keepsake for his recent holiday with me to visit family in Sydney. I am extremely pleased with result. No access to shared albums continues to be a deal-breaker
October 2023… another update, and STILL no way to access iCloud Shared Albums. Journi GmbH *really* needs to provide a way to use the standard iOS “photo picker” so we can access photos in shared albums!! (Please?!) When we get together for a group event, everybody puts their favorite photos into a shared album, and those albums are inaccessible with Journi! I know they have their own “shared photos” solution that they think is sufficient, BUT IT’S NOT. (People don’t want to deal with other apps and “special instructions”.) It’s enough of a challenge to get folks to add photos to an iCloud shared album (and that only takes a few taps!) Other apps on the App Store *do* allow access to shared albums, so it’s NOT a technical limitation. There have been lots of updates to the app in the years since I initially mentioned this but it continues to be ignored. 😢Show lessEddyGeez!

Unfortunately we do not get access to shared albums, but you can use our family & friends-photosource instead. When you are in the photo selector, switch the source from "phone" to "friends & family", give them the visible link, where they can then upload their photos and make them available for you.Super easy and stunning
Two books down and both came out beautiful. Journi does most of the layout work and I find it very easy to revise. The modern look is what’s needed to fill in the gap for those of us that used to put together photo albums from prints - you just want to see the beautiful pictures you took. Poor packaging, damaged product, no customer service
BUYER BEWARE. I created a huge hardcover photo book in one order and the same day created another large book (soft cover). The two orders were close to $600 in value. Even though they were separate orders, both 11x14 books were crammed into a makeshift box, which was really just cardboard and tape. The packaging was horrible and the books arrived bent and had been affected by either water or humidity. The hardcover is actually bent with a cracked cover and the pages within are all messed up. I’ve emailed them pictures of the packaging and pictures of the damaged books. I’ve emailed twice to ask for a new copy. I e gotten nothing but an automated email response and no follow up after 6 days. With everything being digital, this should be as simple as a reprint replacement. UNACCEPTABLE. I will not order again, there are better companies to choose from.Show lessABM32

So user friendly!
I’ve tried about five different apps to make my photo book. With the discount and the options it was a no-brainer. It was so user-friendly and I had no problems managing layouts & editing. Some other photo applications are so complex and over detailed. It makes it hard to navigate others. My only suggestion would be to have more sophisticated sticker options and icons to put on the background of pages.Show lessModestaC

first time using journi after a holiday with my partner, the book came out so beautiful and of very high quality, super excited to give it to him as a memorabilia of our first holiday together.
shipping was also extremely fast and no issues at all trying to piece photos together in chronological order as the app does it all for you!

Easy High Quality Book making app
I love love Journi so easy to work with , design on the go and manipulate to look good I have used many others and this one is the best. Also great support from the office. Quick turnaround time. Two New Photos Books
The first time I have used Journi having used several other companies in the past. The customer service, quality of the product, ease of use and cost is far superior than any others I have used in the past!
