  • Completely inaccessible, and unusable to screen reader/voiceover users on iPhone

    I downloaded this app, thinking that it would be a much easier way for me to pay the tolls that my car collects while it is running down the PA Turnpike. I’ve never once received an invoice in the mail from Penn Dot indicating how much I owe. Boy was I sadly disappointed when I open this app and could not do anything. What is a blind person to do? I understand that it may be counterintuitive that a blind person is trying to pay turnpike tolls when they can’t drive, but, that is a non sequitur. Just because I can’t drive a car. Does it mean that I cannot own a car which, I happen to own three. I love cars. I love my cars I love being able to own cars and I don’t want to do anything illegal like skipping my turnpike tools. Thankfully, the help center was accessible enough for me to be able to get the phone number so that I could pay over the phone with a credit card. I really think the PA Turnpike which, is a state run institution that uses federal dollars. Therefore the Americans with disabilities act applies. Please revamp this app so it can be completely accessible to screen reader users, as is lawfully mandated by the Americans with disabilities act of 1990.

  • App crashes

    App crashes and won’t load. Good thing website works … wait…you can’t login into to website bc it crashes also with a maintenance error that has been up for a month. What a worthless app/website. Hopefully they won’t charge me since nothing works.
  • Unable to see App Icon for iOS SE devices

    Please note I am unable to see the App Icon in my cell phone , every time I need to check the E-Z pass statement I have to open App Store and E Z pass from the App Store. It’s not in any folders too as I checked all of them . Please advise
  • Poor user interface and function

    The biggest missing functionality is that license plate images from charges cannot be viewed. Also, the web site listed on the invoices was not functioning so it’s not accessible.

    The UI is poorly thought out. For example, notifications hide account information on the “hamburger menu home + home button on the footer bar” screen. I talked with an operator to find it. Even so, they kept saying it was at the top of the screen and it wasn’t. It turns out it was covered by the notification and they didn’t even know that was a possibility. The system automatically sends a notification when the account is created, so it’s there mostly every time for a new user.

  • Have fun getting a new password

    Went to reset password and no matter what password I put in it told me it was the same as my old one. Convenient now they’ll just send me a bill for as much as they want since they can’t see to make money no matter what.

    Let’s be honest pay roads are ridiculous to start with. We pay a ridiculous amount off tax for this stuff as is. This shouldn’t be a thing in the first place.

    Open your call center at a time when people with jobs can actually call you since none off your stuff works

  • Idiotic

    Stupid system. I travelled a couple days ago. I have only travelled through Pennsylvania once. I’m trying to pay my bill now. I had to type in a very large amount of information: address, credit card number, plate number, driver’s license number, make and model of car, birthdate of your first born child, if you prefer waffles or pancakes for breakfast…the list goes on. Completed all of this, then it is recommended that I download the app. Now it’s saying that I don’t have an invoice yet. Says they will bill me. Shoot. Did I make an error? Did I type in the birthdate of my second born child by accident?

    Please Pennsylvania, read this and become more like Ohio. Get on, pay when you get off. Done

    Well, it sounds like you may have opened a whole new account rather than simply logging on to pay your invoice. This forum is for the mobile app only, but it would seem you used the website to open a new account. If you simply want to pay an invoice, you should be able to log on to the website or mobile app with your account number and license plate information (all found on your invoice). If you do decide to attempt that with the mobile app, we’d like to hear your feedback.
  • Simple Tasks Very Difficult & App is Dysfunctional

    This app is not only poorly designed, it rarely functions properly. Much like the DOT itself. Watch out for the auto-replenishment button. Turns itself off without warning then you get charged $10 transponder fee. That little tidbit cost me 2 phone calls, 6 dept. transfers and 2 hours of phone time with EZ Pass customer service. If anyone finds a way to remove payment options let me know. It’s referencing an old credit card but couldn’t find a way to remove it, even when I added other payment options.

    There are only two ways Auto-Replenishment will be turned off – either you turn it off, or your credit card gets declined. If you don’t turn it off yourself and you keep your credit card information current, you’ll have no issue. The $10 fee will be returned when you switch back to Auto-Replenishment, so there’s no need to call the service center. To remove a payment method…simply swipe to the left and press the delete button! That’s it!     I put in credit card info and it automatically used my husbands name(as owner of the car/ the name on invoice). I was unable to remove my credit card info and unable to edit the cardholder name. Now the wrong info is locked in on the app! What a waste of someone’s time to develop this!
  • Alway drop

    I cannot enroll for automatic payement. When I clic to put the month for our credit card, it drop. I try on several devices and it’s not possible at all to do it.
  • Dark mode finally!

    It’s great the see support for dark mode! The updates in the latest version make this app 1000% more useful.
