  • The app seems to get worse with every update

    Don’t get me wrong, I love Sweetwater and I frequently look at gear on their website and sometimes buy lovely expensive things. They have the best people, great service, and I adore my sales engineer, Sweetwater is the best. The problem is, the app seems to get worse with every update. In the last one they removed the ability to swipe back to the previous page, and they forgot to add a back button. The app was already slow and clunky enough to begin with, but come on. To the developer, here are some things that I think would vastly improve my shopping experience. 1. I like it when I can swipe forward and back between pages, but it can get very annoying if I visit a product page and watch 10 of the videos on that product and then have to swipe back 11 times to get back to my original search. This should not be. The developer should fix this so that after I have watched all 10 videos I would only have to swipe back once to get back to where I was. 2. When I enter a search term, for example, “guitar”, and press search, then I am given the ability to select brands I wish to see by ticking the boxes on the lefthand side of the page. This is good, however it is frustrating and annoying that when you tick just one box it immediately jumps to the next page. This makes no sense and makes the experience too awkward and slow. What would make it so much better and streamlined is if we were able to tick all the boxes that we’re interested in and THEN press “go”, like, add a go button so it won’t go until you press it. This is a problem on both the web and the app, and has annoyed me for years. As it is now, I rarely look at the Sweetwater app anymore, even though I want to, but it just does not work right.     Irrespective of what I think of sweetwater as a company they’re not bright when it comes to this app. They obviously spend a lot on online branding so it’s puzzling they would ask you to download an app that is just a front for their website. Especially when they’re pushing their seller’s market. Would love to sell me gear but the website isn’t great and this app is a joke. What a waste of bandwidth. Get it together guys even Guitar Center has a real app.

  • This App Is Garbage

    I have absolutely no idea where all the five star ratings for this app came from. It is literally the most glitchy app on both my iPhone 14 Pro & my Samsung Galaxy S21. It doesn’t save any of my settings. I have to click on link’s multiple times to get it to navigate to a different page/view. It often times won’t add the product I want to my cart or save a product for later. I either have to unload it on iPhone or force stop it on Samsung in order to see the CORRECT cart and/or Saved Later items. This is a developer issue. Sweetwater has excellent customer service and warranty, but their apps and website all have the same glitches I described. I think a lot of their customers overlook it because of the other attributes, but it’s 2023 what and WAY past time for Sweetwater to do a complete overhaul of their developers and GARBAGE software!

  • Good app, but still a little rough around the edges

    The last update was great, no longer need to log back in every time the app is opened. It’s still extremely slow when adding filters to searches or hitting the back button when viewing items. A great tool for looking up products. Apple Pay support is also a nice feature.
  • Website App

    Basically, this is the website on an app, but the website works better.
    I recently placed my first ever order from Sweetwater through their website. I figured I’d get the app to open quicker and check on the status of my order, but the last time I went on, attempted 3 times to sign in and gave up.
    The actual website just goes without any problem.
    From what I can tell, Sweetwater is awesome. Within an hour of my order, I got a call from a rep to congratulate me, and discuss my order and how things will work in the future.
    Amazing customer service. Great website. Just hope they can fix the app to live up to the website and level of importance they put their customers.
    The is usually a faster and easier way to access all a company has to offer. This doesn’t do that. I’ll stick with the website, for now.
  • Good company, crappy app.

    I love Sweetwater as a company, but the app is so buggy. Whenever I press the “My Account” tab, I’m forced to sign in again. Also, I recently haven’t been able to add items to my wishlist. I can access the items page, but pressing the “add to list” button doesn’t work.
  • Sweetwater is Phenomenal, App is a Dud

    I have not been able to login to the app for over a year. Developers are aware of the issue, but don’t seem to care to fix it. Website works wonderfully. We have been purchasing gear from Sweetwater for many years. Our Consultant, Caleb, has consistently provided us with personalized and stellar service, and their products are high quality.
  • Sweetwater is the G.O.A.T. but…

    I love Sweetwater but I don’t understand why the app doesn’t have a button to remember my log in. It’s like I download the app, I make my wish list, and then I have to put in my info every time for it not register. So then I have to put it multiple times, instead of it just remembering
  • Like it, but app is trash

    I downloaded this app in the summer of last year and it still has the same issues in 2023. It’s very glitchy, the search function doesn’t work, and every times you start the app, there is this ugly message at the top to call for account issues. Just glitchy and trashy. Why have an app that is barely even functional…?
  • MUST BUY FROM HERE

    1. I have bough 2 products from this company and 1st was a guitar and 2nd was a guitar pedal (which isn’t here yet) the guitar came in perfect condition and their service was so incredible. They gave us all the updates and informed us on everything and it wasn’t a robot. A few months later I got a text checking in on me and how I like my guitar.

    2. I just bought a guitar wah pedal from sweetwater today and I already know it was a great purchase. I spend 95% of my day looking for a vox wah pedal and all the places I looked didn’t have any, or weren’t in my price range. I checked sweetwater to see if they had it, and it was on sale and all the reviews were good. I love sweetwater so much, I highly recommend!
